  1. From top to bottom. Press the use button on the dispensers and one will give you health and the other shield.
  2. Sized up the catwalk little smaller more in line with yavin_temples and I also slanted the walls just like in yavin_temple to give it a more accurate look as it bends around rooms. I'll be putting up an image soon of the map layout for those who haven't downloaded the map and curious how it's all structured. I'm also considering adding in a working saber droid for mp for the map but I need to figure out if it's the animations causing the crash or if it's a script or ext_data issue. Would add more to the map then say a standard npc spawning like a reborn for fighting. All else fails maybe a model reskin that looks like a droid since another npc spawn besides remotes would add to the room. Also to go a little more modern going to take out the shield and health and put little dispensers on the map people can touch to get hp and shield. I'm going to use the models for item_shield converter and power_converter for this.
  3. I posted earlier in the thread about which models were ported, the rest are just base jk models. Also thanks to the sith council map I now have better detailed toilets as well as urinals. Gonna get a better looking fridge and stove top in game next.

Outside area can go two ways. 1 map a portion for people to go out like yavin_temple. 2 do a full scale outside with the exterior mapped and a potential possibility of fps drops as well as some areas connected to 1 main area as well sadly. I may possibly attempt it but not terribly interested in it personally. I'm adding in few more map models such as for the toilets, sink, and also a proper grill in the mess hall as well. I'll have a few screenshots of the update when I get it set and done.

  6. Recently added in one thing I felt was missing. Right from yavin_temple in JO is the catwalk so people can look into rooms without being hurt or get in the way, also adds a bit of a RP element. This catwalk bends around rooms on the 1st floor only where dueling rooms etc are for what one would call "training". One can access it from the archives second floor in the back. Give dynamicglow a run if you want little more vibrancy on the map. The center dueling room has been setup to mimic more of the dueling platform in yavin_temple and the other side dueling room will be setup so that it will spawn a remote. Like dueling room in jedi's home v2 walls spawn around the bot room area so as to keep the bot in the little ring area plus the room can double up for another dueling area if need be. Two switches to make the glass appear and vanish around the ring and both are down inside the room. The catwalk switch in the remote room is only for spawning the remote. I will be providing a texture which shows the basic floorplan for those who are curious what each floor has.
  7. A list of the ported models between Kotor 1 and 2 for those curious what models were ported. Textures and other models used are from base JK and few textures from Jedi Outcast. They were also condensed down to specific folders to save on the map having to load files, it boosts map loading time since the game doesn't have to load up resources all over the place. There is 3 little consoles in the command center. They are changing between 3 different variations of level music, they are of course yavin themed more or less.
  8. I will probably do a release here in a few days or so give or take but for now put a file up for people to try out. Few level screenies for folks. Contains 6 floors. If there is any missing walls or textures be sure to post in this topic. There is ported models on the map from kotor 1 and 2 just for map detail and very heavy model usage on the map but even with that my fps was still very stable. Few textures used from other maps but for the most part majority of map things are JK related. There is also signs next to doors on the 1st and 2nd floor to help people who might get lost. It also contains 2 training sabers 1 for single and 1 for staff. Map name for devmapping to is mp/ffa_mt The original map idea and design comes from another map known or called y4_temple1. Few other little tidbits are as follows. A Mess Hall instead of just a bar To use the screens in the command center towards top of the temple the inward consoles outside the circle activate them Floors go as follows from top to bottom: ~6th = Satellite ~5h = Command Center ~4th = Ceremony ~3rd = Dorms, Restroom, Tech, Medical, Mess ~2nd = 2 Dueling Rooms, Force, Galaxy Map, Archives ~1st or Basement = Hangar
  9. I didn't think my post would get such responses lol. I'm not terribly picky if the said models get in JK personally. I just always viewed robe variations and styles as nifty in FU. Ceremony, jedi knight, trial, temple guards, etc. So many variations in looks for both sith and jedi. Sith Assassin is probably one of my favorites. More then just the traditional look is what always of interest to me. I honestly never got far enough along with max or into zbrush etc to get into any of that honestly. I've gotten to point where I would manually weld verts together to lower the vert/face count. Not terribly sure which way is better. Current way is boring and tedious enough.
  10. Answer: NO I'm probably not gonna port fu models since they're higher quality and cleaning models up for them to work in JK takes a while to do. But in other news I did manage to get into Max FU2 models to have them where they have them with the skeleton also intact. So if JK did support higher end models could tweak the model down to curling of fingers and what not to function. Models have more verts and faces which goes over the standard JA limits which is why porting these over is a pain.
  11. Since it is possible to port FU models, though you gotta rework them since they have more verts and what not then a standard JA model. I'll see what stands out most to me and what I feel up to porting less someone else wants to do it. Now mind you also some of the FU models will look bulky in JA possibly.

  13. I actually had started ex_jedi_temple map. I'd have to think about how to do JL3 personally I thought second one did good enough job on it's own but see what happens.
  14. No I'm not Griffin Claw. I only met him 1 time in Jedi Outcast few years ago very briefly. I had to do a full scale remap of the level to produce this. I have considered doing full scale skyboxes but it's one of those things that I don't wanna release it less it's done just right and I really don't wanna edit core map setup either to produce skyboxes either. If I do get skyboxes setup I'll be sure to release that on jkhub. I've also considered doing an ex_jedi_temple remap or update as well but it's like anything else, takes time and I wanna make sure things go smoothly.
  15. On a side note, I don't care if you don't like the map. It's a homage to a map just about every guild used at one point or another or even complained about using all the time. If you don't like, don't download it. If you do, great download it. Communities work better when people work together, not playing little childish games. Being realistic as I am, I highly doubt any of these older folks are gonna come back to remmap and make levels that are over 5+ years old now. If they do though, that would be awesome. Prove me wrong, I'd love to see these peoples envisionment come to full fruition. Means I get a new map to play on.

    Just the final version with all it's little fixes and what not. Ambience sound is added into the map, and unlike other copies this one doesn't have bugs. Map name in game is jedi_council_gcx This map is literally like a paint job over the original. I had absolutely no hand in the making of or creating of the original GCX map, nore was I ever apart of or in {O}.
  17. Plan on uploading a copy to jkhub. Take some peoples input on the current map I've worked on if anyone has time to test it out. Just more along the line of map bugs, not really looking for input or making map alterations. I added another map area that's not quite up to par or level I'd like but it works for now. I also added little "fonts" as I call them that let you get healing or shield, tap the colour crystal of your choice. I have them scattered throughout the map. Also, all map areas connect to the map center itself for all those ffa nuts. I also put in training version of the staff and the single handed weit as well. So you got a single damage version of each for those nuts who wanna wack each other like crazy but not kill people in a few seconds, good for training. Monk models are in the SP character customization, they use the jedi taunts from JO. Let me know if you find any map bugs or if a model doesn't show up, etc. I plan on doing some reworking of the new area I added in as well.   18. Added little bell in the center hall when pushed it plays a chanting sound that can be heard in all current map areas. Kinda another way instead of spamming screen messages to get peoples attention to meet in an area or the center hall. Also added rounded sunhats to the monk model set. The model set comes with a variety of robe colours and 15 facial head textures including each head in the set having a hat version. Might add some more variety like bags or something to the set in time. See what happens.
  19. People seeking attention will always do stupid things. They plagued JK2 as well. And such people are part of, not the complete reason, why people lose interest in things. People like happy upbeat places to socialize and hang out, not negativity. World has enough of that crap as it is. You notice, they always come to you.
  20. It's going in the map with the monk models. But it's just gonna be a default model. Setup in regards to a friend and also it'll just have the JO laugh taunts.

  22. Changed the windows and got this SP model set into the pack also.
  23. Adding in some monk kinda SP models to fit the map theme. Roll those into the pk3 when they're done. Pondering upon adding in some female SP models also with this map
