You act as if I'm picking at a scab when really all I did was, point out 2 server names that obviously other people are looking at. So it bothers me because I'm just the 1st person to openly point it out for others to see? That's a silly idea.

I don't feel as though pointing out something obvious means it bothers me. In fact this attention seeking might make everyone who plays, even new folks, think the general population is full of simpletons and 1 trick ponies.

Hey master lists you want people to block heartbeat from, just grab there ips yourself. Not losing anything important from either of these 2 anyway.

Considering most stuff people want is either things in jedi robes, or new star wars stuff ported to the game. I'd say just practice learning whatever program you pick first (I still use 3ds max 7). Build up the confidence in using the tool and the rest will come easy enough. The confidence part is a barrier for entry in lot of stuff. Plus if you did learn modeling, can do a unique personal model for yourself if you still play in game.

Tell that to people who still think 10-0 scores are relevant or people who still use maps released what, 2 or even 5+ years ago? I don't think this is in terms of a massive scale but what pertains to JK series as a whole. JA has a community of its own and files that speak specific to community or methods/ways that are about server/clan advertising and so forth. Things on forums don't reflect what is always going on in game.

For content anyone can pickup/use it interest me. For specific mods it is a hit or miss kinda deal.

I enjoyed the lighting effects but I seen 2 clips of actual map content and not much else. Not much to get hyped for though just from those 2 things. But did look nice those 2 things from what I seen at least. Map sizes reminded me of source engines with there skyboxes in the backdrop.

I think it is a great representation of the modern JK community in regards to a direction, more strict and follow a crowd vs. doing it in the spirit of keeping it alive and thriving. Not saying it is souly black and white, just listen to it. It'll make more sense then rather than me just talking about my views on it. What are everyone elses views on it?

Iggy was a godfather and free music sorta mindset in regards to being a godfather to punk and came around end of the hippie 60s into the 70s and his views of it now that he is older whatever in regards to how that industry has changed to the modern day and his view being being more true to yourself instead of catering to an idol level of image for others to hold up aka golden calf.

Overall talk on the change of the industry he is in (music) and how the creative energy comes from those who are in it for the art and less about money being apart of the creative edge. That sums it up well enough, I guess.

Clans or what not. Understand when you listen to it.

It's easier to copy content than make it all originally or whatever. I give them credit for how far they got but you see more unfinished projects in JK than finished ones. I say focus on ffa and learn through all the content you produce, then maybe do a larger project when you get the skills for it.

Give more to the community rather then gating it behind a specific thing. Cause less people enjoy that specific thing or even know of it, content is just gonna get overlooked these days. There is still some old sites with old JO sp releases and skins that I wager most don't even know exist anymore.

Content specific to a creation is a waste of time. Create/release content piece by piece then tie it all together after. At least this way people can enjoy the content even if the project is never fully finished. Plus if you have all the core stuff done and released, most you have to do for the mod then is just add in the SP specific scripts/npcs/bosses cause all other core content is done.

Because larger mod projects aren't a job (get paid) and people create/produce the content on interest and drive alone. Some people lose that interest/drive over time due to whatever reason.

Enough alternatives in place to not even care about the master list and I'm sure Raven was already emailed about it anyway from someone.

With the hub list and still able to do favorite list/direct connect/out of game browser. It doesn't stop anyone from playing still either. It's a waste of time to worry about the master list. Just a e-peen waving contest for an idiot who only does it to get attention/reactions out of people.

There isn't any fixed good or bad. Walking on the force, of the force is walking on me. There is no difference. Subtlety will achieve more than those that are blatant.

What laming? The stars come out invariably every night. The sun rises and sets. The birds flock and migrate without exception. You by your talk of laming and duty to ones rules are introducing confusion into the server. Your attempt to eliminate competition is a manifestation of selfishness. You are like an admin beating a drum in search of a rule breaker.

Luckily SP can make more use of scripts, haven't tried your content. But if you want a good idea for yavin based trial stuff get your hands on JO's yavin_trial. That map is all about using your brain.
