I love the live action cutscenes. I don't think it would quite be DF2 without them. It would be a lot easier to just do those.
Scripted sounds like it would be pretty tough. You'd probably have to make some special maps for them too.
If you decide to go scripted, I can help out with getting the audio from the videos if you send them to me.

I too am awaiting the next videos. Mod Tool is very confusing to work with and figure out on my own. I've watched a lot of other tutorials and videos to learn the basic features for this sort of thing.
All I want to be able to do first is frankenstein models.

It's funny that you mention having to contain a readme actually. Just the other day i uploaded a file and, for some reason, i felt compelled to include a readme in it lol. Maybe it's because i used to make things for HaloMaps and it's required there, so perhaps it's just normal for me to do it here too xD
Adding a readme has been common practice eversince people started modding for Doom . . .
Fighter is talking about including the original readme from the original author from which you borrowed from or who made the mod. Not a readme in general. That should be common sense to write up and include, if not required.

Went over it and I've uploaded it.
However, I don't know how well it can be reskinned. It was a high poly model, with the ease of reskinning not in mind.

He stole most of those textures without giving credit. He was a horrible texture artist and modeler too.I went a-snooping after reading this post, and stumbled across an old filefront thread where someone was posting not just Wyyrlok, but a whole bunch of Legacy-era Sith models:

They could do with some heavy re-tooling in the skinning department, and some (such as the Quarren and Aqualish Sith) contain ported content - but does anyone have the other models? They were apparently hosted at the Void for a time. I'd love to get my hands on some of them for some tinkering.
He never released the Wyyrlok I don't think, not even on the Void.

My mod will include all of the things left out from JK2, along with some optional replacement pk3's.

That's weird. Maybe try downloading it again. I'll look into it.Yes it was the one uploaded by you. I downloaded it, but it was unable to be moved or deleted until I went to my DL folder itself and deleted it
Looking at the "properties" showed weird things too. File sizes were 0 across the board. The download didn't fail in any way either
Also, I'm starting on the JK2 restoration.

Super stressed out - just found out we cannot use copyrighted music in the sketch...the music is so iconic! Oh well, bummer!

Chill, I was just trying to have a conversation.the only problem I had with that mod was the stupid saber animations, as they messed up a lot attacks and I hated the way the sabers were when u ran. Overall the mod was fine but it was just the way it was set up. Look all I want are the breathing stance almost exactly like they were in that mod. Just the breathing stance nothing else. Got it?

All of the stances in that mod breathe. The standing, medium saber stance, red stance, blue stance, staff stance, and dual stance all have breathing animations, right?Just the breathing stance nothing else. The stance (preferably) to be exactly the same as the one in the clone wars mod except without the other junk. So yes only the breathing stance which means no changes to anything else.

Just for one stance or all of them? That would require a lot more work, but it would look a little more realistic.
The Clone Wars stances and animations were great, but they weren't as realistic as they could be.

The sounds for the New Reborns won't be affected.I just tried to get that map Kata, but not only did it refuse to leave my Downloads folder, it also refused to be deleted...I had to go into my Downloads folder itself and send it to the recycle bin in order to delete it.
As for the sounds, I'm glad to know the new and the old don't overwrite each other. But if I got a JK2 restoration pack that has the Reborn skins, would it clash with the Old Reborn skin pack I already have? Should I just remove the skin pack?
No, they won't clash because they do the same thing. You will might as well delete it when you get mine.
Was it my version of The Ladder map?

Results aren't going so well at the Bail/Lando thing so far. Ah well.

It's definitely possible and I think it's been done. There's a JK2 restoration mod for JA somewhere...
I'll have to search for it somewhere.
If I can't find it, I'll make my own version for you. There's a lot of elements from JK2 that they left out of JA like that.

I don't have that issue in widescreen...
The cutscene-exclusive maps are suited for that, for the most part.

That's a decent model. It should be hosted on JKHub.
You should take a stab at Bail. You're a great skinner, you can do it.

That would work I guess. I'm not sure how you would pull them out though. I haven't used Dragon in ages.
