    I'm just excited for the new movies because I know they'll be good movies - IMO Abrams did a bang-up job with the new Star Treks, and I'm sure that EPVII and beyond will be good standalone movies. Whether they'll fit into the canon? That doesn't really matter so much to me. I can keep the EU canon and the movie canon separate, and there doesn't have to be a complete divide between the two either. Also on the subject of characters and their creators- Lucas did create the universe, so he has license to do whatever he pleases with it. His actions may not be received well (cough cough prequels) but as the creator, he is allowed to do that. You can complain about the direction of the characters all you want but that won't change his mind or ideas. TL;DR EPVII won't necessarily be a good Star Wars movie (in terms of canon) but it will be a good movie, and Lucas may be a dick but he has license to do so.

    They don't have to be forgotten, not if you don't forget them That's my same idea with the EU, having something that supposedly trumps it canon-wise doesn't mean that those stories or their value in building the universe are discarded. But anyway this is getting too philosophical for Star Wars so I'll leave now bye

      basically as I remember it: the other guy had just killed someone and I saw it (and his health was low) so I killed him and he was a traitor. He then reported me for RDMing saying "you can't just walk around a damn corner and shoot someone", and I was auto-killed the next round.

      "Random Death Match", as far as I know it's killing someone without sufficient reason, or just shooting people randomly...which is kind of what the whole game of TTT is based on in the first place

    CTF because I suck at dueling, but give me weapons and I can take anyone out Although there often seems to be a lot more anger on CTF servers (PUG or JA+) compared to FFA, which annoys me somewhat Edit: I also quite like the SP campaign, not for the story but definitely for the wide variety of levels and scenarios and the combat...low-level cultists are fun when you throw them off cliffs

    Sometimes I wonder if there is legitimately more bullshit happening in the world, or if I'm just becoming more aware of it...I've only had 15 years of life experience so I can't really accurately judge

      I feel you. It seems as if year by year, the world is getting worse. Even as a 15 year old black male, I can sense a most tumultous future. One that's worse than it already is.

      One thing that is definitely an improvement is that we now get to complain about how much worse everything is to a large amount of people on the internet. 30 years ago we'd only get to share it with a rather limited amount of people IRL.

This one, "Bad News Bears", will also be part of our show this year!

    I used to love playing Neo Dark Ages with bots (I apparently hadn't found the SP version but here it is). It was kind of laggy when I had it but the gameplay changes definitely made up for that. I especially loved the new weapon effects and models, and all the brilliant new playermodels, as well as reskins of the defaults to fit them more in with the theme of the mod. http://jkhub.org/files/file/1562-neo-dark-ages/

    ...yeah, (not to say that this isn't important elsewhere, like all of pop music) but I don't think that the loudness war is really a problem here, as long as eez isn't going "hurrdurr compress the f*ck out of it because it needs to be louder" or something

    Yeah I agree, the music quality is already pretty good. If you want to mess with it then by all means do so (your version definitely sounded good as well) but I'd put more work into other aspects first, then the music can be part of finishing touches. Also, I'm honored that you think I have experience in this area

      Well considering I always host private games for Circa and other friends, we don't have the children problem. Not since our very first time when we allowed it to be public for a bit and quickly learned our lesson.
