    Man you guys make me feel young (which I am but shh) I think I started sometime in 2012/2013 playing JKA, it was a game my brother had played and I really enjoyed the SP for a bit...then I played MP and it got soo much better haha In terms of using mods, I used filefront (gag) first, until I discovered this wonderful website! Everyone here is really pretty nice and you guys have always been able to help, so thanks Honestly, JKA was my first multiplayer game- it has just a small enough community that I've been able to make some fantastic friends, learn why internet dating is bad (long story), and just in general become a better person. Oh yeah and I'm not bad at CTF either

      And yes Circa, he's been pretty much releasing only singles and EPs for like 4 years now...there's a really cool thread linking all of his releases (all the singles) to this current album, and a story that's still not completely resolved...it's incredibly well designed you should check it out

      teh said it got DDoS'd yesterday. The host took the servers down for 24h. Should be back now. Next DDoS will be 48hr downtime.

      silver 2 only, I got 3!! 7days cooldowns in a row, because I had just joined and survived the first 2-4 matches, but I just wasn't good enough for someone :) Counter-Strike kids can be a hole lotta fun...

      nope, I'm still convinced that GO is just wrong somehow. I tried playing 1.6 a couple of days ago and could easily get like 60 kills in no time.

      I agree that we should strive towards being awesome and then go from there, but I don't think there is as clear cut of a connection between that and feeling joy or feeling good about oneself or vice versa. It's good for you that you have nice parents, but anecdotal evidence of happy couples only goes that far.

    I'm not sure, in FL I can select (as my sound output) Primary Sound Driver, Speakers, and ASIO, and ASIO sounds the best, so idk But if a sound card isn't all that expensive then I can just go with that and use my current setup with ASIO for just production

    Thanks all, I appreciate the advice, one bit about sound though: My production software comes with (and I can easily install) a free audio driver called ASIO4All that I currently use on my laptop for all production work. This is an incredibly helpful way to get around the fact that my laptop speakers are pretty much shit. If I could get ASIO4All to run with everything (so use it as the sound driver for games and all other sounds, not just production, which I would imagine is possible although I haven't looked into it yet), would there really be any need for a separate sound card? Also, how much does a decent sound card cost, because if it's not that much, then I will get one and just continue with the same setup as I have now, using ASIO4All for just production. Thanks!

    So I recently came to the conclusion that I would be much better served in gaming and in music production if I got a desktop instead of my laptop. After some discussion with my brother, he recommended I build my own, both for cost and for the ability to customize for what I want. So, can I get some help on what I need to know before looking for parts? As said before, this desktop will be doing mainly music production and gaming. Thanks!

      Bricks fell from our Jr highschool back in 96'.

      Those kids went to the HS in the afternoon for class, we got out at noon for about 4-5 months. It was great.
