Seven Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 In blender, can someone just list out the steps that would need to be taken to rig a mesh to be used in game. So just taking a very basic shape, totally new, and setting it up for JKA. I know the naming and triangular mesh thing and a few others, but it would be nice to just have a requirements list, as I almost always fail when its not a frankenstein. Bek likes this
ooeJack Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 You should be able to find some handy tutorials here on JKHub. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to places outside of JKHub, but if you cannot find any tutorials here, these should help you out: - http://psyko3d.50webs.com/tutorials/jk2_guide.htm- http://psyko3d.50webs.com/tutorials/spacemonkey/jk2.htm Good luck! ooeJack
minilogoguy18 Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 There aren't any Blender based tutorials since everyone just uses it to splice models together. Bek likes this
Seven Posted August 19, 2016 Author Posted August 19, 2016 Well at this point I've figured it out, but thanks @@ooeJack
Bek Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 I was about to make a post about this, it makes me sad that there's no actual answer, or tutorial. Here a tutorial @@Jeff gave me awhile back. I've yet to completely figure out the process, mainly because the tutorial is lacking pictures, but at least it's something. http://www.knights-reborn.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=10419
