ClassicRockJedi
Reason being...I tried using my handy dandy SpongeBob model I know and love, and the thing came out all deformed, and twisted. Why could this be? I unfortunately only know how to do NPCs by hand for JKA (it's still a bit confusing though), so I use NPCTool. Come to find out, there IS no NPCTool for JO, so I'm at a loss. Any help? Thank you! Link to comment
Ramikad
It's not a matter of NPC files. It's a problem with the different _humanoid skeletons used in Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. The Jedi Outcast _humanoid skeleton has more bones, so the only way to fix that problem is to rig the specific JA player model to the Jedi Outcast skeleton. Link to comment
ClassicRockJedi
Hmm...that's unfortunate. I don't have a program where I can rig. EDIT: OK, turns out I do, I have SoftImage, I just need to install it... Link to comment
Username
And the npc tool isn't really necessary. I just use notepad and It's pretty easy. Also, keep in mind that JO npcs are edited in a .cfg file and that they're not as modding-friendly as the JKA ones (The extent to what you can change is more limited).
