a280 model from moviebattles - permission to use

The MBII A280 was created by Chairwalker (as is shown in our maps-models readme). The only contact info I have for him is from some of the uploads here, such as this.

Wrote email to him. Many thanks! :)

Still no answer on mail :( Would it be problem to upload it then?

As far as I know, the general consensus is that you can upload, giving credits and claiming that you tried to contact him, but couldn't reach him.

Ok .. Member that will check the file while approving it will decide.

That sounds about right, with a lot of the older content you can't really do much past contacting them, chances are many will have stopped using the emails attached to their content or have simply moved on and left the game behind. If the a280 model has been in there for a few years and you cannot find recent content (I mean new stuff not reuploaded stuff), you don't get a response in say..4-6 days I'd assume he's no longer available and go ahead, removing the content in the event he does eventually respond and say he's not okay with you using it.

It's alright to assume, so long as you aren't trying to pass off someone elses work as your own, the same goes for if there was no contact info despite the license saying 'contact for permission', it might have been from another site originally like JK3Files which was taken offline so the original contact info is no longer available.

That's the main issue with a lot of reuploaded stuff, their creators might not be using hub, and there might be no email to check with them. So long as you don't give them reason to think you've stolen and claimed it as your own there shouldn't be a big issue in the event they do finally see it and ask you remove it, just remember to also credit them regardless of if you get permission or nothing but an empty inbox, it's a way to show gratitude for them at least creating the content.

A side note: You may find that some owners have given the current holders (the MB2 team) special permission to grant others use of their content due to their own absence, so check with the pack owners too, in the event the original creator doesn't respond, they could still have a way to contact him or her in a different manner too.
