ensiform Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 I'm thinking a Wiki of documentation would be a good idea? I realize we probably need some sort of offline documentation for users too in case they don't have internet etc but: http://wiki.ioquake3.org/Main_Page This has a lot of concerns addressed that we would need to be addressing to our playerbase and server admins as well.
mrwonko Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Should this just be https://github.com/JACoders/OpenJK/wiki ?
ensiform Posted September 24, 2015 Author Posted September 24, 2015 It needs to be more OpenJK specific though so users don't have to go searching. And the github one is less user friendly for people not looking to compile from source.
mrwonko Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Could use WikiaThat would be a simple solution. I don't exactly like relying on some 3rd party service, but since I don't want to set up a forum either... that might happen?
afi Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Is something going to happen here then? http://jkhub.org/wiki/index.php/OpenJK
ensiform Posted September 27, 2015 Author Posted September 27, 2015 I just created that therfiles likes this
afi Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I know but you didn't mention it in this thread so I wondered whether this was just an attempt or serious ambition
ensiform Posted September 27, 2015 Author Posted September 27, 2015 Attempt to copy the ioq3 one for starters I would prefer if it had its own section entirely. So OJK is the main page with a logo etc.
