the_raven
The game has RGB shaders, shine shaders, invisibility shaders (saboteur, shadowtrooper), and I've also seen some mods that make parts of models transparent with different colors. So, how do I add and remove shaders? Link to comment
Psyk0Sith
You edit/create or remove .shader files. Just don't touch the original ones in the game's .pk3. Instead create a new .pk3 with the same path and it should be used instead of originals. Link to comment

Didz
Check out the shader manual here: http://q3map2.robotrenegade.com/docs/shader_manual/contents.html It may take a while to understand if you're new to modding, but just try to adapt existing shaders by adding layers that glow and stuff like that based on the stuff you learn in the shader manual. We kinda try to help yaI know you guys do, but I already know how to open shader files, that's why I'm asking for help - I open the file, but don't know what to change exactly (then again, I downloaded a "ghost morgan katarn" mod that's got a translucency shader. might try to change the texture path and see where that goes... Psyk0Sith
Your questions sounded workflow related. When you should've asked "how do i learn shader code?" That's your problem right there. Langerd and Maui like this Link to comment
