I keep getting an "error 509 The account's public links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled" whenever i attempt to download a file from www.jkhub.org. How do I avoid this and is this an issue?

No need to apologize. You do realize you are apologizing for something you did not cause. BTW, I didn't know dropbox has a 200 GB download limit? No offense that is just plain retarded

Guys, add torrents as alternative way to download for such situations. I am sure here are people who are always online and can always share.

I had that problem yesterday too.

That would be silly for the following reasons:

1. We'd have to go through every single file's page and add a second link.

2. Torrent sites are blocked on many networks (colleges, businesses, etc), including mine.

3. Dropbox works the best.

We exceeded our traffic limit because of image links we were using for the site. So every time someone visited the site, it would load that image from our Dropbox account, which racked up the bandwidth. We've since removed all images and files that aren't JKHub mods. It should not happen again.

But 509 is not cool too. Even it is okay for now, after some time the same thing can happen again.

AFAIK networks block only torrent sites like PirateBay or other torrent scrapyards. In this situation the usage of torrent system is okay, because it shares legal content.

Circa, at first, you don't need to use it if you don't want. At second, I told it could be alternative way, so there could be 2nd download button or something like that. You don't lose anything.
