Grab
Hello, sorry if topic is in wrong section. I ported FFA3 into Source, but i lost a lot of things: Is this possible to make structures "normal walls" in radiant? I'm new in radiant. Sorry for my bad english. Link to comment
mrwonko
The Source Engine is based on the Quake 2 Engine and thus lacks the Quake 3 Engine's new Patch Meshes for curved surfaces. Q3Map2 can turn patches into "ordinary" geometry with the -patchmeta switch, but the Source Engine has its own compiler without support for patches. Link to comment
Grab
So, only way to have these thing is make them in Hammer(official source editor)? Link to comment
CaptainCrazy
Hmmm i know you can make maps for Hammer in 3DS Max, but i'm not sure if you can import these brushes into 3DS Max and then export them to Hammer. Why not just re-make the map in Hammer to add your own personal touch? I remember remaking a few Goldeneye 64 maps and scenery/props in Hammer/3DS and i always found it rather fun Futuza and ChalklYne like this Link to comment
Futuza
^^Besides it'll look more awesome if you make it original, especially given the fact most people are against ported anythings. Link to comment

I wouldn't mind having a go at it in my spare time but, with lack of a dueling system, it'd be pointless. Link to comment
Botdra
I'd love to see these ported into Source games... can't wait to see what you come up with. Link to comment
