Maui
Hey guys, I've installed and setup gtkradiant 1.6.2 on my computer last night (depends when you're reading this) and when I apply the textures and fit is all, it looks good in the editor itself. But when I go ingame, it made the textures being repeated for lets say 50 height 50 width. Is that normal because it's a new editor or did i do something wrong? Please help me, im getting histirical over here o.o ** Maui ** Link to comment
Pande
Hrm, actually I was helping someone with this on #radiant the other day, there is a possibility this may be a bug. They too were fitting a texture and it was tiled in game, in their case wolfcam Q3. Give 1.5 a download for now and I will report the issue on their Github tracker for you. http://jkhub.org/files/file/1311-gtkradiant-15-complete-version/ Link to comment
mrwonko
Sounds like Q3Map2 can't find the textures, which should also be noted in the compile output. That causes it to use assume a default texture size, which is usually way too small. Make sure the basepath gets set correctly. This may be a problem with radiant but can easily be circumvented by manually invoking Q3Map2, say using Q3Map2GUI. Link to comment
Apprentice
It could also be a shader issue. I had something similar like this when the image I used in the editor was of a different size then the one used in game . . . Link to comment
