Circa
So all the pk3 editors for Mac are now extinct and either don't work with current versions of OS X or were taken offline. Does anyone know of any current ones? I've tried just making .zip files and then renaming but that doesn't work. Link to comment
redsaurus
It does work, you just have to select e.g the models and shaders folders before doing right click->compress items, not the folder containing them. Link to comment
Circa
I could have sworn I tried that because it made sense, but the ones I had weren't like that, and now it works. Thanks man. Link to comment
Dusty
Can you use WinRAR? Or 7-Zip? They can both use .zip files, which are just renamed .pk3s. However I use 7-Zip because it's completely free. Link to comment
Jango40
Winrar is cleaner, and I doubt that anyone actually buys it after the 30 days trial Link to comment
Circa
I used WinRAR on Windows but it sucks on Mac, there are so many better options like The Unarchiver and Stuffit Expander. But there's also the default compressor that comes with all Macs. Link to comment
