Lazarus Posted Thursday at 06:51 PM Posted Thursday at 06:51 PM I am having an issue with loading my music. I am always getting a bad or unsupported file. I checked the settings with excisting music within JKA and tried to bring to them , but i always get this back I converted it multiple times, but to no avail. 44100 hz constant bitrate stereo (i also tried it with mono) i had 128kbs but i also tried 96 kbs Anyone any idea?
Circa Posted Thursday at 08:05 PM Posted Thursday at 08:05 PM Can you provide the mp3 file? NAB622 and Kessno like this .!¡!. BASE OASIS • GALAXY BOUND // A STAR WARS PODCAST
NAB622 Posted Thursday at 09:49 PM Posted Thursday at 09:49 PM If the MP3 file is truly 128 kbps stereo, it should work. Triple check that. Otherwise, we need a sample of the file to examine. Also, how is the music being triggered? If it's the general map music, what is the value being used to play it? Kessno likes this
Lazarus Posted Friday at 06:29 AM Author Posted Friday at 06:29 AM https://we.tl/t-VPD2x47vPt we-transfer is good for 3 days. okay --- changed something, switched the slashes to backslashes. That throws the next error in.
Solution Circa Posted Friday at 03:20 PM Solution Posted Friday at 03:20 PM @Lazarus try this file: https://frxn.me/f/cove_reverie.zip .!¡!. BASE OASIS • GALAXY BOUND // A STAR WARS PODCAST
Lazarus Posted Friday at 06:05 PM Author Posted Friday at 06:05 PM What was wrong with it? Since i wanna tweak it a bit still, but so i know what needs to be different.

If so, all I did was open it in Audacity, opened a music file from the JKA assets, copy the waveform of yours and paste it in the other one, exported as a new file. I have no idea why that is required with OpenJK but it's the only way to get sounds to work sometimes. .!¡!. BASE OASIS • GALAXY BOUND // A STAR WARS PODCAST
Aldro Koon Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago If the mp3 is downloaded from a website or something initially, it could include a cover/thumbnail image which won't work ingame (and is hard to tell), you'll need to strip that off using a program like Mp3tag. *If* you tend to download mp3s off of youtube, this is common, just a heads up Circa likes this
Circa Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Actually, upon further testing I noticed the asset music is all in joint stereo rather than normal stereo so I exported your original track to joint stereo and that worked as well. Lazarus likes this .!¡!. BASE OASIS • GALAXY BOUND // A STAR WARS PODCAST
Lazarus Posted 33 minutes ago Author Posted 33 minutes ago Thanks for the explination. This song was generated via suno.com (its an ai tool) I was stuck on the original one when i was working on Ableton, so i decided to get some inspiration and generate a song. I actually liked this version, hence i wanted to use it for now as background music, i intend to use later my original one in Ableton, but in the mean time, this is a nice change up. Anyway, once you download it from suno.com, it indeed shoot an image along as it depicts the state of the image. Your theory is probably also true @Aldro Koon , as i ll check in suno if i i have to change the stereo to normal, in stead of joint @Circa
