About This File

This set includes the following hilts.

Commando (Star Wars: Republic Commando)
Smuggler (Star Wars: Uprising)

Spawn command:

saber saber_commando
saber saber_smuggler

Credits:
- Disney, Kabam, LucasArts: For the original models that have since been remade.
- Teancum and Noodle: For the inspiration and resources used in the creation of these hilts.
- Myself: For porting the original models into Jedi Academy using Blender plugins to painstakingly adapt them to the game’s skeleton.

While I have put a lot of work into porting these models, the original credit for the designs belongs to the sources listed above. If you’d like to use these hilts in your own projects, you do not need to credit me, but please do ensure the original creators are acknowledged and that proper credits are included.

What's New in Version 1.1

Released

Although two of the models are already finished, I felt it would be nice to remove the LQ versions, so that way if you wish to use the HQ versions instead, I would allow it, but I am still keeping the other version to be nice.

All right I'm a bit confused at this point. Can somebody tell me, is ported content is okay to upload and display on JKhub nowadays?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against it by any means. I'm just confused because I remember back in the days rules were different about porting models and stuff.

We have made the decision to allow ported content, but only if at least some custom work has been done on it (like riggin the model properly and optimising it so it works well in the game, and adding MP icons for it). We don't allow straight ports with absolutely no proper modification done on them. And it's recommended to credit the original source of the models.

YAY! I'm chuffed that these made it over to JKA from my work on them in SWBF2. Definitely gonna use these on my next playthrough.

To all those who enjoyed the Ported Sabers. Thank you for the support.

[UPDATE] I have taken the LQ sabers out due to me not really wanting them anymore. To be honest, but they live on through your previous downloads. Thanks for understanding.

Nice lightsabers um what is the saber id to spawn them through commands? the reason I ask is because I play movie duels and custom sabers don't appear in the saber selection menu.

Thanks sometimes I do got some insite but unfortunately it's not very common for me but I do try though.
