So this is it, the 1.1 version (See changes in the changelog)

New, pretty low-poly model (270 faces 276 vertices) with new textures!
- Baked in xNormal
- Textured in Substance Painter and Adobe Photoshop
- Modeled in 3D Studio Max 2016

BUGS:
The blade tag could be a bit lower, I think. Will fix for the full version!

The original model was awful. It just didn't look right. This version is a great improvement and makes the Stinger finally appear like a lightsaber.

The 1.0 version is on it's way, just making a few more tests!

in the very words of Ozzy Osbourne "It is about fucking time!"

but didn't you already make a stinger with red shaders and stuff? in that hd weapons pack?

Yes, I did. Well, compare the quality of these two hilts released now with the hilts from those packs and you'll quickly realize why I restarted the project. Rather than working on fixing those shabby models, I can just do them a lot better from scratch, with better face savings, positions, better topology etc. What's more, some were pretty subjective! I mean, I made them like I wanted to make them so they weren't recreations in the true sense of the word.  :) At that point I was drawing on the UV map from a sheer new file in Photoshop and used nothing else than brushes and filters to make my textures. Now I bake the base textures, add material properties to the model in Substance Painter, adding details in Photoshop and Painter as well a little bit, then finally combine it all together in Photoshop into a diffusion and specular map for JKA. :) The models to-come will leave the old packs in a big, black shadow! Also, I'll take the old ones down once I finish the new packs! Check my topic for more info!

Well, the single-blades (the ones useable by Jaden) were great - I personally loved the Consul hilt! The 'hidden' ones (Luke, Desann, etc.), as well as the double-blades were not so good IMO. Can't wait for the 'update' ;):)

Lowered the resolution to 1k (1024x1024px) for the 1.1 version, I drew additional texture specifics to the texture, added the bent normal map trick, fixed my layer stacking and re-did the bakes. After which I took some more time to fix up the diffuse and specular maps completely. Now the texture looks nicer but nothing like the faulty one from 1.0! :P Did the same for The Outcast with some additional model tweaking to lower the face count a bit!
