INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: place the zz_originalR2.pk3 file in your C:\programfiles\lucasarts\jediacademy\gamedata\base directory.

 

DESCRIPTION:

 

A reskin of protocol from assets1.pk3 to look like R2-D2 from a specific shot in the original movie. :)

 

This is only a re-skin so there are no new models sorry.

 

BUGS: None.

 

COMMENTS: Download and enjoy. note that you must have JKA installed in order to use this mod.

 

PLEASE NOTE: This skin is an add-on to the default protocol files, so in-game to use type:

 

npc spawn r2_80

 

or to play:

playermodel r2_80

I was thinking to make the same @Kylo Ren but i have no idea why, when i add specific shade for R2 to look a little bit more chromed it doesn't work. Nice reskin 10/10

The reason why he looked like that in the movie was following:

The scene was filmed using the bluescreen technique. Later, the blue color was filtered out to add the

background. During the process, the blue pattern on R2-D2 was affected as well, which happened by accident.

exactly what Lancelot said.    you should rename this, because now this file is misleading, there was never a black'n'white R2D2

I like alternative versions of this droid but..  yeah..  renaming would be nice

I think the Readme is sufficient.
