About This File

Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad (1165–1257) was a Syrian Assassin during the Middle Ages and, from 1191 until his death, the Mentor of the Levantine Assassins. Raised to be an Assassin from birth, Altaïr obtained the rank of Master Assassin by his twenty-fourth year. However, following his failure to obtain the Apple from Robert de Sable in early 1191, and subsequently allowing the Templars to attack the city of Masyaf, headquarters to the Order of Assassins, he was demoted to the rank of novice and sent on a quest for redemption. Tasked with the deaths of nine individuals, who, unbeknown to him, made up the ranks of the Templar Order in the Holy Land, Altaïr began a quest to change his ways and liberate the Kingdom from the corruption of the nine. During his quest however, Altaïr learned of a plot far more sinister than originally believed. Completing his mission to kill the nine targets, and cleansing the Order of its treacherous leader Al Mualim, Altaïr rose to the rank of Mentor, taking the Assassins into a new, more secretive direction.

I actually did this one right before the first game released...so the skin on the face was off what I could tell from trailers and such...I could always go back and improve it if I get the time.

-edit-

Added screenshots. The model looks great. :)

digging the JKH watermark btw.

Here is my review:

Creativity: 10/10

Execution: 8/10

Likeness: 9/10

Overall: 8.5/10

I really liked this model. While I have never personally played any of the Assassin Creed games, I know that they are quite popular. This model was pretty well made, the attention to detail was astounding, but the overall feel of the model was missing something.

First of all, lets go with what I liked. I loved the little details: the little knives, the sword attached to his back, and the model looked very similar to the original Assassin's Creed character. The little knives attached to the belt where placed well and made the model look much better. All the weaponry attached to the model made the model so much better. Good job!

However there are a few things I feel could be improved. The clothe parts of the model didn't really look real and jutted out in strange edges. I know cloth is difficult but it really detracted from the flow of the model. It also seemed like there was a bunch of holes in the playermodel's body. When I swung my saber, it seemed to expose all types of little holes and gaps. Just something to fix. It also seeded like the arm claws were not properly attached. But the weighing of the model was fine. All the animations fit nicely to the model's bones.

While there are a couple of things to fix, this model was very well made. Great job! I would love to see some custom sounds and bot and team support for the next version (?) but over than that It was very good. Congradulations on a superb model!

New Sounds: No

Team Support: No

New Model: Yes

Nice model. Don't like that Face as much but good work.

Would have been Nice if you added a bit more a Point at the top of his hood to kind of hide his face Like the Games.

8/10

The only improvements I would make would be to fix the face, and perhaps add some new sounds, team support and maybe bot/npc support as well.

Overall, a very nice job done here.
