  1. Yes, but you can go down to the start of the map without losing a lot of health and it will be 100 in the map change. ^^

     

    I already found the hole, but it is quite ridiculous that Kyle has no night vision or flashlight. In addition, the sand dwellers remain quiet when they are shot.

  2. The platform you used to get at the top of the volcano can be push if you look down and it will go down. With it, you'll find in the dark (the start of the volcano map) the way to go back to the beach zone. :)

     

    The platform only descends to the previous position and does not descend further although it is pushed.

  3. Yes you have to. So make a copy of your gamedata to not ruin your game and remplace all files with ECMIII files. These are needed to play. :)

     

    Thank you. Kyle appears with a rifle but the primary attack does not work; only the secondary attack works. Also in the area of the volcano, I manage to climb to the highest platform, but then this platform low and I do not know where to go.

  4. I do not know how to activate the lift, because I believe I have to use a droid for that purpose, but none follow me.

     

    Langered => It was very fun but (in my opinion) I do think you should maybe remove the thermonal detonator guys (grenades). It ruined the flow of the gameplay. Playing as Vader is fun if you can basically recreate the Rogue One ending scene. Feeling powerful, deflecting, walking slowly and just ripping people up, throwing them around. Blasters only, dont use grenades or explosives because flying all over the place as Vader due to someone throwing that is just anti climatic. Other than that, this was amazing.

     

    Playing as Vader you have to be more dangerous, do not make enemies less dangerous. The grenades are easy to avoid if you activate Force speed and push the enemies. Although an interesting thing would be that Force protection is permanently activated in Vader and without the aura, because Vader manages to stop a blaster hit with his hand. 

     

    One thing I do not like about this mod is that with the dismemberment activated, the swordfighting are either too easy or too difficult, because you're too fragile. Jedi Academy is not intended for realistic combat, because we do not have enough control over the defense so that you do not receive reliably any blow. Although I like very much that people continue elaborating single player mods for Jedi Academy.

    In the next version enemies won't be able to push destruction back at you. I'll also look into some options for saberthrow.

     

     

    Yeah, there isn't a linux version included in the download, but there will hopefully be one for the next proper release. The code *should* build fine on linux though.

     

    I prefer that Force users can push Force destruction, because otherwise it would be too easy to kill them.

     

    What I would like is that the player can perform Force Push and Pull as fast as he / she press the buttons, that Force speed only consume gradually Force points and Force sense as night vision.

     

     

  5. At least, I'm glad ECM III is not made in the same way. In every Epic Challenge Mod, I change my way of working. I made yesterday my first cinematic InGame. 

     

     

    Well, did you found the secrets maps in ECMII ?

  6. Hello, I do not want to bother you but the rancors appear without textures and in the Temple of Ancients level, the walls appear without textures. I do not know why that is, because I installed the fix.

     

    One more thing that I've noticed is that in the Treasure Ship level, there is a room with soldiers in orange platforms, where if you jump to the second platform, will you hit an invisible wall. Below is water but I find no other way out.

    It's disturbing, you are the only one who get this problem... thank you anyway to ask me, I think it is a bug not with the mod but with the game.

     

    Make sure that the cheats are active, try the basic helpusobi 1 and setforceall 5 and tell me the difference. :/

     

    I already did that, because some platforms are impossible to pass with the jump in level two. But do you know what? If you type "setforceall 5" mental trick allows you to control the enemies, which makes combat very easy if this ability is used. Also the grip on level three becomes fighting very easy, but the player can avoid using these skills if we want more challenging combat.

    Another thing. What level of force is supposed to be Kyle Katarn? Since the start of game shows "setforceall 5", but some powers are only level two.

    There is another point I would like to comment. In the beginning of the sixth level I climb up and get a key, but the door does not open with that key and I do not get to find another key. Am I missing something or is it a bug?
