  1. Howdy. Had a couple jetpack mods I wanted done, but my modding abilities are in other areas, and this is outisde my area of expertise.

     

    1) Unlimited jetpack. Pretty self-explainitory. I imagine some small scripting would get the job done?

    2) New jetpack model(s) using one from the JangoVM or BobaVM packs? Obviously permission would need to be given first, and then just replace the model with the VM version(s) I'm guessing? Doesn't sound hard in theory but I could be wrong.

  2. You wouldn't even need the gun to pivot really, if you can just make the tank rotate. It wouldn't be realistic, but it would work.

    Also:

    I loved in the Episode I video game, the AAT tanks served the same basic purpose as the AT-ST's in JK, even if they were a little more tough.

     

    I don't know what game you were playing, but it took me WEEKS to get past that one tank at the end of the Naboo Gardens level. And another few weeks to get past one of the ones on the last Naboo level before you leave for Tatooine.

  3. Well in my opinion, half of the academy levelshots are of that horrible Luke model that comes with the game. My goal was to get levelshots of the temple instead of him. Because chances are, people are going to download Toshi's Luke model to replace the vanilla model.

     

    cam_disable disables the cinematic camera, but leaves the cinematic going, while you are controlling your player.

     

    Meh, fair enough. I just left it as vanilla as possible. Least amount of work. ;)

  4. For the smaller SP levels like the academy ones, use the "cam_disable" command. That's what I did for my prequel mod.

    It was a while ago, but I think the issues I had weren't camera issues... don't recall. Would have to go through the whole pack and compare.

     

    Either way, 90% are done.

  5. So I got sick of seeing the gross, low-resolution levelshots that were in vanilla JA, so I tried to take some higher quality ones that did the game a bit more justice. This was on my old computer on the highest settings I could set it to... not amazing, but definitely a step up. I tried to make all the screenshots as true to the originals as possible, so the angles should be pretty spot on, maybe slightly off but only when comparing them side-by-side.

    What Levelshots Have Been Done?
    - Most SP Maps (some of the smaller ones weren't possible)
    - All MP Maps
    - LucasArts Siege Destroyer Map
    - LucasArts Bonus MP Map Pack

    What's The Difference/What Settings?
    - Higher resolution (1280x1024 I believe)
    - Less pixelated/less jags
    - Color Depth: 32-Bit (Highest)
    - Geometric Detail: High (Highest)
    - Texture Detail: Very High (Highest)
    - Texture Filter: 32-Bit (Highest)
    - Detailed Shaders: On
    - Dynamic Glow: On

    Not a big difference or anything, but it's noticeable and adds a nice polish to the game, I think. Nozyspy said I should do the same for JO but since I don't actually own JO, that will have to wait until a later date. Sorry I couldn't post before/after pictures but my Photobucket is acting up, feel free to post some if you want. Gimme a shout if you have any issues with the mod.

  6. The do have animations, like in MBII. For some reason they don't move hardly at all ingame though, which I couldn't figure out. They can be hard to kill, but force lightning makes it pretty easy to beat them. I wanted them to be only slightly harder than the hazard troopers that they replace, but not so much that it's impossible. They look good, but I wish I could get them to look better. Or at least move more. They even have a rolling animation!

     

    I agree, I think they got it right in that game with them being hard to kill, because that's the impression you get from the movies.

     

    If you could get them to roll and such, that would be extremely badass.

  7. Not too bad to do, I suppose. What do you need this for?

     

    Just for a bit of realism. I wanted to make a custom HUD that was similar to one you'd see in Republic Commando, Bounty Hunter or Metroid (an inside the helmet view) but didn't want it to be shown when I was in 3rd person view.

     

    Also if you are going to attempt it: http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Crosshair_Selection;53116 There's that, but just needs to be automatic OR just set so that the 1 key changes to that normal hud and keys 2 - 0 do the helmet hud. That being said, that isn't perfect... it would eliminate the possibility of using the "Switch Weapon Left/Right" keys and having the HUD change, or any other key configuration for that matter.

  8. So I've got a bunch of mods going right now, a few maps, but mostly models and weapons. I've made sure none of these mods are replacements for base content that could be conflicting.

     

    Now here's the issue. I'll load up a map, any really, and it'll work fine. BUT if I go to Profile and scroll down the game crashes. Otherwise everything works fine, but if I just scroll down a bit there's a complete crash. The error I get is simply "Requested feature was omitted at compile time".

    I'm guessing all that has something to do with the crash, despite having error messages with mods that didn't cause any problems whatsoever. Anyone have any ideas?

     

    P.S. I DID manage to get it to scroll once, but I just scrolled to the bottom of the list as fast as I could. It lagged for a split second, but worked. Then as soon as I scrolled up a bit it crashed again.

     

    EDIT: Interestingly enough, I tried doing the same thing but from the Main Menu into Profile rather than the Profile Page in-game. Same crash from the same scrolling, but here's the details of the error I got this time around:

    For clarification, both times I loaded the game normally, THEN loaded the folder with all my mods in it via the Setup > Mods menu. Then I tried the Profile page.
