  6. There's already Neo Crusader models out there just use a lightsaber with one and there you go.

Have you tried it without the "_humanoid" folder in there that may cause issues if certain people have a different "_humanoid" folder that loads after that, or try renaming the pk3 with "zzzz" at the front so it loads last. So instead of your pk3 as "MalinGale" rename it to "zzzzzMalinGale". As far as the skin files and shaders they look correct for both.

  10. Yes I do use gimp to make textures. I'm just being honest with my questions, but if you want to get the ball rolling post some screenshots or videos of your work, then people can get an idea of what your doing and maybe find interest to help. Btw hang in there family stuff can get rough at times but in the end they're still your family even through bad times.
  11. If your doing the maps why would you need textures for the maps? That doesn't make sense.
  12. The idea of this mod will go nowhere unless you have something to contribute other than ideas. Take some time and learn a skill whether it be skinning, modeling, mapping, or coding. The tutorials on this site are a great starting point. Then others may join you but at this point you just want everyone else to do the work for you.

  14. You can edit the individual sabers to do this without a mod. Just add this to your saber file. trailStyle 0 - default (0) is normal, 1 is a motion blur and 2 is no trail at all (good for real-sword type mods)

  20. Did you rename the weights? They would need to be renamed as well. So if you had lhumerus it would need to be rhumerus, etc, etc, etc,...
  21. Exactly, nothing should stop a lightsaber except another lightsaber.
  22. The animation would be the difficult part, the model itself would be easy.
  23. Does BF2 have a lightwhip? That would be epic.
