Most hosts I spoke to get their files from filefront. It's like an 'official' release, to them. Having one more master server wouldn't hurt I suppose.

That is not hard if someone were to update the 'server package' files in filefront (do we have one here?). Also I'm assuming this is for 1.01 only.

Yikes, stay off Art of War! Two friends who had their servers from them always had them down if not laggy and the price they're asking for is far too much for a JKA server. I have helped someone with LowPingGameServers (I still have to help them restart it every now and then...), only problem he had was that LPGS didn't seem to know much about switching versions. By default when you rent it it's 1.01. Also the provided slots might be wrong (mate ordered 22 slot it came as 12, but he changed it to 22 in-game and nothing bad happened to him). In TCAdmin's link I still see 'JKJA+v1.01+12+Slots' at the end of it lol so they never bothered to change that. Also, they'll stop your server (no I don't mean suspend it) if it has been crashing continuously for some time. But I'm sure with the fixes available around there shouldn't be a need to worry. I can check if they allow uploading of custom dll's and exe's if you like.

Put the server name as 'uncrashable' or 'crash this' and you'll have loads of people trying xD. I know a couple of gametype specific ones, will pop over when you're on xfire..if I don't forget.

Halloween is gone before it came! I saw a lighted Christmas tree next to Halloween bat banners in a 7-11. Certainly does ruin the feeling...

I have GTK but for some reason it doesn't function well on my Win7 ultimate <.< keeps giving errors. I'll look into that lugor option, never ran a lugor server before. I usually use makermod

OoO a 1.00 mapper...! 1.00 is a graveyard due to the Steam release. If you wanted to see people there's a specific time frame, about 7pm to 4/5am on a GMT+8 timezone...which is from 9 hours ago to 2 hours back (at time of this post). Miss it and 95% people are gone. Also, Europeans reign now. Americans are rare. Asians/Australians are...nvm I'm the only one left. Lol.

Would that fix the thing where one needed to spam refresh/get new list and then click on game: Jedi Academy then all, in order to have *all* the servers displayed?

heheh xD i'll let the mods (staff!) decide if they wanna move it... Both textures/shaders lol. Naw it's fine, don't have to make one if there isn't an existing one already. That's even harder work lol.

Lol I think this would be more of mapping than modding >.< but then again people have different views on what's modding, editing and mapping... Yea that's what I'm doing now but it's kinda tedious lol to go through each and every one and then comparing 'em.

I'm looking for a list of JKA shader/textures so I can do some remapping without having to browse through the assets manually, is it available anywhere online? Preferably with pics otherwise it'd be back to square one...

I know it's a bit early to post about Christmas but heck there's Christmas trees being put up with Halloween decor anyway... Is anyone planning Christmas events for December? Not just clans but would be nice to have a central event where anyone can just pop by...stab each other over a frozen lake or something Normally by now I would be preparing for one, editing maps and such but after a couple of years and bad turnout I've kinda lost heart D:
