  1. Hello everyone, I'm a collaborator who was working on the development of a model (NPC) that had already had a preview version which didn't work well at all. So back then I had made a 1.0 version, and these days someone suggested a modification so that when using the npc spawn command of the game console, it would be placed correctly. This task was tricky for me because I had to do several tests after each modification I made. So for 4 days almost non-stop I was working to get a version 1.1 (or maybe it's already a 1.5 version) of this model. After being satisfied with the results I decided today to update the Boga.pk3 file that I had already uploaded to the MediaFire site, so you can continue to use the same hyperlink. I also wonder if it's possible that this model is already officially published on jkhub. What do you recommend?

exact! these are the changes I needed for Boga, bravo. can you send them? I would like to play with it:oldwink:

Now I am referring to all members reading and downloading from this thread.
I have been on Jkhub for almost a year
I remind you, for those who do not already know, that the models I have published are not my creations ...
I am good at ported, do not create them from 0, do not assign them to their skeleton and give them the animations they deserve ... if there are these models it is thanks to the artist designers for all the time and passion they employ.

I have had the opportunity to observe many of your works / masterpieces ... (models, maps, animations ...) and besides being a hobby you are talented.
I mean if anyone is interested in tweaking and improving the quality of my ports, or if anyone would like to create a Marvel mod or something ... I would be very flattered, thanks to everyone who appreciates my projects.

Of course, this is the link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/mzp97y8zk712fhh/Boga.pk3/file

  3. HUM-3154, first of all congratulate you on release these models. This female varactila (Boga), I had to correct it. The model appears correctly as npc. The problem is when one invoke it as a vehicle. The corrections I made are as follows: the correct parameter (vehiclescale) to match the scale of the npc model; also the height, width, and length parameters in the .veh file; friction also because it "gets hurt" when reaching a slope; I also modified it to do damage when colliding with an npc. As it is a "vehicle", if you hit an obstacle it "gets hurt" too and its health goes down. I moved the driver's position lower on Blender. Anyway, after several hours of seeing how to fix all of this things, now I think it is almost ready:

One problem that I couldn't correct is the player cannot attack an npc with certain weapons, except when using a blaster or rifle for example.

  4. Got some work done on Clone Wars Anakin today.

The belt, hips, boots and head were taken from TFU 1 Anakin and kitbashed with TFU 2 General Kenobi.

Finally, a realistic and decent model of Anakin. During the seasons of the TV series, I've noticed that he has had three changes, two of which are official, and one remained unfinished. The first does not have long hair, the second has medium hair cut, and the prototype chapters (not rendered) he already has long hair as it appears in Revenge Of The Sith.

  5. I made a few hard egdes soft by merging the vertex normals, I tried editing their angles a little to get nicer shading with mixed results.

Faces are exploded/detached along hard edges, which duplicates vertices in these spots decreasing the number of hard edges saved me 400 vertices.

@@Raz0r ah, yes good old times :D Any chance you still have the portal mod code stuff?

I also want to fix the vertex normals in my high resolution model, because I have that error when I shoot to my model. I visited the following website and it seems that here found the solution using this vertex Editor: https://www.blend4web.com/en/article/131/. The problem is that this Editor works with Blender 2.74, and I use Blender 2.64 because I export from this version with the Jedi Academy Plugin Suite v0.2.2.
