      Well, I see an option of making an obj and then importing it into Gmax(or 3Dmax). Then the plugin can help you turn it onto md3. JA supports other formats as well, though I never tried anything except for md2 and md3. Beware, that md3 might not like the high poligons count of the model...

      What a nice cup! Where did you render it? As for JA - if you can turn it into obj, then you can make it later into md3.

  6. Well it's my birthday today...anyone have any suggestions what I should do?

  7. Today in a bookstore I found a SW book on ilustrations and concept art: there is so much they planned for 1313! So many characters, cantinas, streets, even villas on Coruscant. Too bad we won't see it. :(

  9. Watched an episode from Mystery Science Theater 3000, "The Robot vs. the Aztec Mummy" (1950s) starring a character Commander Cody. Ж)

  10. Just completed watching the new episodes of Clone Wars. This arc was better than what we see in Season 6 imho.

  11. So strange to hear, that More Clone Wars episodes might be released very soon. And something about count Dooku and Episode VII...

  12. Listening to music from the DFMOD. I really wanna play Dark Forces again. Love that game.

      For now Malak and others are homaged in SWTOR either in monuments on Corellia or as gear and armor sets for the players. I was shocked to see old Sith Trooper armor - the same applies to Malak's armor.

      I liked Revan more when he was silent, yet charismatic leader. And his motives for Light Side heroism and Dark Side fall were less obvious. But more mysterious as well as his whole persona. Even his face was unknown. As for Jedi Exile from KOTOR II - I am glad she finally has a name.

  16. Bad trend: most new games are unmoddable. Are there any mods for TFU? No. For Deus Ex HR? No. Mass Effect 3? No... New Battlefront? ...

      In my opinion modding allows a bit of creativity from the players/fans. I am not saying all the games should add that. SimCity for instance became even better after adding Architecture editor. SW Galactic Battlegrounds survived through a lot, because it had the in-game editor for levels and missions. EaW was also changed by fans for the better with some mods.

      Thanks to you all! Actually a tutorial about sabers helped on the aspect of tags. I must say, that the only thing which is beyond me for now is the model coordinates. The blaster stays either some distance from the hand or is reversed... Even if I try to rotate the md3 first, it doesn't help much. That's the issue now.

      therfiles: that's an interesting suggestion. I do know about these tags in hands, but never perceived it that way as to add new weapons. However I must say, that in this case the model will shoot the same despite having different models...

      eezstreet: There are no tags there, as I don't know which one should be present. If you convert md3 into glm in md3view, then it creates just a model, but you can't hold it the right way, as well as it can't shoot. I checked glm of original blaster and my own - the tags section is missing. So I was looking for info on the tags - there are quite a lot of them on lightsabers, but not crude weapons like the above mentioned blaster.

      I thought, that it is important to use tags, so that the game knew from where the blast comes and where the hand holds the weapon.

      I have md3 and obj model of a new blaster (which I made from scratch). It will be used by an NPC. I would like to know how to convert it into glm (attach tag, etc). That's what interests me :) No coding or mixing with engine.

      Thanks, but I want to add a new blaster to SP. To be precise, it will replace the existing blaster_pistol for instance. I have a model, I just want to nake it possible to be held by an arm of a character (tag). :)
