So did Luke want both the Jedi and the Sith to end so one single greater ideology could rise or was Luke just being a brat?

  I mean, it's hard to say if the Sith ended with Palpatine (Vader wasn't a real Sith IMO) since for all we know Snoke could have had a ton of holocrons and relics stashed.

  Interesting, I didn't know that they never considered themselves Sith. I wonder if that's what Palpatine would've wanted. It's very interesting when you think about it now, Kylo Ren not having the title of Darth, same with Snoke.
