What browser are you using? Test if it's doing the same thing in another browser.
I use Chrome, and it works fine on Internet Explorer though.
-
Heh. It's you. Probably a browser extension. Double check that any extension you have were actually installed by yourself.
I deleted all of my browser extensions, it's still doing it...

Sometime ago, while on JKHub, some of the images flipped upside down, and then they all became troll faces, and it's still happening! I don't think I have a virus, I have ESET NODE32 Anti virus (which is supposedly the best). Is it just me, or the website? Has anyone else had this problem? P.S. It doesn't happen with any other website, just this one.

Hmmmm. I'm not sure why, but this file is keeping about half of my player models from being visible. Some are missing heads, others are missing torsos. I've isolated it to Revan here. Is that a shader thing? What can I do to have my cake and eat it too?
Is it SP, MP, or both? And is it V1.02 or all of them? If it's just V1.02 then I could delete the new shaders (like the shiny chest armor) and send you that one.

Darth Marr from SWTOR.
Still a work in progress. Someone wanted me to make this model awhile back, so here it is! It will probably be awhile before it's complete...

Opinions?
I'll also release the female Revan with the new updates and fixes.

Hey guys! I fixed the hood problem and the robe stiffness problem, so just a few more tweaks and bugs to fix!

That's really weird... I don't have that problem, maybe I could send you a version without shaders and try to mess around with I and see if we can fix it... If you want you could PM me your email and I could try that. And does anyone else have this problem? And is it playermodel/NPCS that are a problem, or the models them selves?

I don't see it on the files page, but I did find it with a search. I've been waiting for days, lol. I'm so excited.
For some reason Its not showing up in the new file section, try going to the playermodel subsection in the downloads, it sould be there. NOTE: It's a update, not a new file, so it should be in the same place as the old file and it should say V1.02 below the name of the file.

Well, this thread certainly illuminates the timetable of the approval process, lol. I eagerly await the release!
For some reason I did not receive a notification that it had been approved! But apparently it's out!
-
Okay, its out! Tell me what you think when its approved!

how can i get my hands on these????
I intend to release the update very soon! I'll post here when I release.

You will need XSI and a program the converts .glm models to a format XSI recognizes. Here is a free version of XSI:
http://www.gametoast.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=14467
And here is a plugin for importing and exporting .msh (battlefront's format):

Here is a tutorial on converting JK models to Battlefront:
https://sites.google.com/site/swbf2modtoolsdocumentation/new-unit-setup-in-xsi
Ok thanks! I'll try that! Question: can you do it with blender?
Yeah, modding those games is a PITA, no where near as flexible or modular as JA, only worth the effort if you plan on making an entire map because you can't just drag and drop characters to a folder then have them select-able in a map.
Head over to gametoast.com if you wanna learn how to mod that game, though if you aren't skilled in modding you're going to find it difficult.
Ya, Battlefront 2 was the first game I ever modded it took me months to figure it out, after learning how to mod there it was a breeze to learn JKJA. The only thing that I like about modding Battlefront is that it's pretty easy to make cool maps and the odf's are fun to play around with, I never learned how to make models though, mainly because I hate working with Softimage.
-
Does anyone know if you can port a model from JKJA to Battlefront? I have seen what looked like the MD2 Obi-wan and Anakin in a Battlefront mod before, and I wanted to implement some of my models over to there. And if it is possible, what software I will need, and how hard is it?
-
You are my ultimate hero. Thank you so much!
You are very welcome! I know the feeling of having a model that I really like, but has a part or texture that I don't like.

I don't want to sound rude, but please, PLEASE do a version without a cape. Solid capes always give me such huge problems with clipping and things. That selfish comment aside, somehow the second cape seems to blend better? The first seems more like fabric but stands out more where the second seems more cohesive.
All of the torsos have caped and no cape versions.

Not much of a update but...
Having problems with the hood... For some reason blaster shots go strait through the model but when ever I take the hood off the model it works just fine. It may be awhile before I release it.
-
Hey guys I'm am having a hard time deciding which cape I should use.
The old one...
...or this one...
Tell me what you think!
-
Okay, I guess I'll do both!
-
Why not do all of that? I'm sure plenty of people would love to see those done.
I thought about doing that, but I didn't think people liked models with 20 or 30 heads, torsos and legs... If that's not a problem then I guess I might do that.
I'm pretty sure the armor is the same color in both of those pictures, but it looks brown because of the lighting and the saber.
Probably.
-
Hey guys I'm making a new update for Revan! I think I am going to add the outfit form the timeline videos, and I am having trouble deciding whether to make the armor gray or brown.
Here are the outfits from the timeline videos.
The gray one. The brown one.
And here are my outfits.
The gray one. The brown one.
Tell me what you think! And I also am making the Jedi robe from the timeline video.
And I'm also considering making separate sound files for the Light and Dark Revans. Tell me what you think!

Can anyone make a long skirt of the jadens? Because those flaps have become boring...
I would do this myself, but I suck at modelling (couldn't even finish modelling a lightsaber! ). Now I know there was a falleen jaden mod, and a human female character with robe options but those aren't what I'm looking for (besides, those wouldn't work for zabrak or twi'lek, or even the male chars)
I could stretch the meshes out on the model, if you want. It looks a little weird (the legs sometimes clips through the robe) but I have done that with some of my models before. It may take me sometime, but it shouldn't be to hard.

WHY has this never been done or mentioned before?!!
I just thought about it while playing TOR, seriously this has to be done!
There are various youtube videos and screenshots that show off the stances and animations.
What I love most though, is what my character does in TOR. My character has 2 sabers (dual weild)
and he has the most awesome running animation for dual weild, seriously, even the standing still stance
is amazing for dual.
When I had one saber I did like how that was too, the animations were nice and the stance too.
Also while playing I came across other players with the Staff Saber, I have to say the running animation
for the staff and idle stance is very epic.
I would really love to see these added into JKA.
I will provide some references below.
I made some SWTOR themed stances for my Revan (never released the animations). The strong is Warrior stance, medium is the Knight, the other stances are not however SWTOR... I also changed the attacks somewhat. I could send them to you if you would like.katanamaru likes this -
I don't mean to try and rain on your parade or anything, it's a really good effort so far, but do you know that there's already a JAR model of starkiller? For some reason I thought it was made by Jose Carlos.. but it looks like it it was done by Kobra judging by the file name of this picture.
Ya, I saw that model but to me it doesn't look very good, the textures look kind of basic and the model looks a little fat ( in my opinion).
Looks very much like an Assassin'c Creed apparel. No, really. There is so much in common!
I remember the times, when Jedi Adventurer was introduced for the first time in the Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, together with Jedi Lord.
There was no official appearance for them though.
I thought the same thing the whole time I was working on it! I made a Ezio some time ago, I'm debating whether or not to release it...

Does anyone know how I could reach the guys who made the Galen Merek model, Lightsaber and animations for MD2? I was going to release my new Starkiller model, and I wanted to use the animations and Lightsaber, and I wanted to make sure it was alright to use them.
