  1. No, no, no. The movements in TCW are more fluid; the rendering and lighting is far more subtle; the animation style has more of a ThunderBird-esque look (unfortunately, but not as unfortunate as the following) instead of typical cartoony Disney animation you'd see in Tangled or something; and of course, the lightsabers are different.

Those Phase II clone troopers look way better than those Disneyfied stormtroopers IMO, with their big-ass helmets and cute design, too.

    See what I mean?

  2. I doubt Rebels' animation and rendering will ever match up to TCW's, unfortunately. With Rebels, it's like I can always tell it's not real. But in TCW, there are strange moments where the anims and rendering looks so accomplished that it suddenly looks like real life. It's hard to explain, but it was impressive.

  3. Hey. Basically I'm hoping someone might model the Sith Stalker (essentially every variant of him--the normal Sith Stalker gear, the Tatooine gear, and the Dark Lord's Armor.) One thing that would make something like this easy would be adding onto Darth Shiftee's Sith Stalker, which is very accurate. It's just that I wish he had the other two variants on the model, and it'd be nice to see them properly modeled on. I'd use the TFU port of the Sith Stalker's Dark Lord's Armor, but it just doesn't really look as good in JKA as a properly modeled version could be. Not to mention there are quite a few bugs with the model and the fingers don't move.

I'd happily provide sounds and if necessary, try to do a bit of my own reskinning. (I sincerely doubt I'd do well enough, though.)

  4. Suddenly I wish the Sith villain of Episode 7 was the Sith Stalker (from the Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition DLC pack) instead of Kylo Ren. He could have been... Palpatine's Lost Apprentice, or something cool like that. He could emerge later on and be the one to pick up Vader's mask, reflecting on it before declaring that he would strive to be everything that Vader wasn't.

  5. I don't see whats wrong with Maul being revived since he comes back almost the same way in the Expanded Universe as he did in The Clone Wars series.Vader can't be that powerful his master is the most powerful Dark Lord of the Sith by the time his grip on the galaxy is established.By the way is the Inquisitor a single person based on the Empires Inquisition order of dark side minions or is he a single character just with a fancy name. The Empire needs its dark force adepts/Dark Jedi since a single Sith Lord is not enough to purge or turn the remaining Jedi. They have a lot in the Expanded Universe but not here.Is it because of the rule of two or is it because Lucas won't allow more a certain number of  dark siders at once which doesn't make any sense.

Apparently, The Inquisitor was Darth Vader's apprentice. I'm sure there are other dark Force wielders out there, just not as we see for the moment. Of course, even if we don't see any others--it's Darth Vader. I doubt they need a bunch of Dark Jedi to take out any remaining Jedi, for Vader led a march on the Jedi Temple using only the 501st Legion and nearly destroyed the entire Order. Though if Vader's Fist doesn't exist in Rebels, then I guess the Empire has a problem.

I'm excited to see Vader vs. Tano at some point though. That'll be... an experience, to be sure.

  6. After Maul was miraculously revived for TCW, anything can happen in these animated un-cannon series. And if the Inquisitor would also return as a cyborg, I would have to stop watching Rebels.

If only we would finally see the horror of Darth Vaders wrath, I just cant accept that he was saved from Mustafar, he cried 'Noo!' and ever since has only been standing behind Imperial officers...

Then again, the Inquisitor did say that there are things far more scarier than death, this is probably him reffering to the Emperor and Vader... once again, Vader is feared, but why? Because TFU ? lol :D

What is possibly wrong with Maul's revival? Jesus christ.

  7. Ahsoka is back. Unfortunately, she isn't nearly as cute as she used to be. (Major sadface.) They didn't model her after her grown up spirit from in TCW's Mortis arc. But hey, seeing her again brought a smile to my face. She has two silver sabers now too.

The Inquisitor let himself die on his own will even at Kanan's mercy by falling into a fiery haze below the platform he was hanging from. Before he died, though, he said, "You have no idea what you've unleashed here today. There are some things far worse than death." And now Darth Vader has taken his place, handpicked by the Emperor.

Oh and, the lightsaber choreography is interesting. They look as though they're using certain lightsaber form practices, which is pretty cool. Also, Kanan wins with epic badass Jar'Kai mode.

This was a decent end to Season 1. Season 2 will be better, especially with Darth Vader and Ahsoka. All that's left is ditching LOTHAL... (Please...)
