How do I play multiplayer on steam?

I just started playing Jedi Academy again and want to play the multiplayer but no servers show up on steam. I understand Gamespy's servers are gone but how do people still play?

The servers should show up fine. Make sure you choose "Internet" at the top options instead of Local.

You should also increase your Data Rate.

If the servers still won't show up, an alternative would be to pick their IP from here and /connect directly.

Use openjk.  It will pull the server list from multiple hosts, it also fixes a number of bugs present in the original game.  You can find builds here and install instructions here.  Also telling it to view both empty and full will make it show more servers.

Thank you so much.  I just fetched a list and it worked
