Super Battle Droid weapon

Hello everyone!

 

Thanks to the "soldier customization pack" I have almost every clone troopers (212th, 501st, 41st, ....) and battle droids I want as npc.

 

Concerning the weapons, for the moment the super battle droids use the E-11 blaster but I would like not to see their weapon (like in the "prequel conversion mod" where they use the integrated blaster in their arms with 2 red shots). Could you tell me how I can solve it? I don't want to replace a unit like in the "prequel conversion mod" but simply make a npc.

Alter the games code to add another weapon slot. Pretty sure there is a tutorial on this around here.

Or give them WP_JAWA, which is basically an E-11, that you can edit in weapons.dat so that it doesn't show any model.

Thank you for your answers, for now I equipped them with the turret from probe droids, it works fine, except that the laser/plasma is yellow instead of red.

You could take the weapon file for the probe, edit it to use the efx file for say the E-11, save it as a new weapon type and then apply that to your SBD.

Do you have any advices about softwares to use for NPC such as NPCtool but when you can actually see them? An interface such as the ingame playermodel menu?
