Cloud Senatu Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 It would be awesome to see that made into a model!Definitely past my skills of modeling I'm afraid.. :/
Milamber Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 I think he'd look odd when limited to the jka skeleton. Would work ofc but I think it would look more like a guy cosplaying him xD Akimoto likes this
Linken Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I think that looks like a job for the guy who made the Gundam model for Jedi Outcast.
CrimsonStrife Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I think he'd look odd when limited to the jka skeleton. Would work ofc but I think it would look more like a guy cosplaying him xD^This.I don't think he would be difficult to build overall...but making him fit that skeleton without making him look fucked up? Not likely.
Cloud Senatu Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Actually it wouldn't be all that hard, simply be sure to weight him as you would normally and it would be fine. The issue is having to figure out which vertex's need to be weighted to which bone, because the model won't match the skeleton perfectly. But I've weighted things that ended up like this before, it didn't look bad at all, was simply a little harder to weight.
CrimsonStrife Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Kinda my point...the build is easy, the rigging is not likely to be easy.
Cloud Senatu Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Yeah, but if you're a good weighter then it won't cause any issues.
CrimsonStrife Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 ...it won't cause any issues. Yeah....ok....lol
Milamber Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Well you could weight it to follow the jka skeleton even if the body didn't match, but no matter how good the weighting is, it would still look funny in the joints xD and with Ryuk you have the issue that if you align the head, the feet are too long, if you align the feet, the head is way above the skeleton. either way I think he's too tall and have too long limbs for a good weight to be possible. But weighting it if you don't care about all that, fully possible xD.
