eweb first person view

In the SP Customisation Mod you can pull the eweb turret off its mounting and carry it around. It'd be nice if there was an md3 first person model for it.

Can you mount it somewhere else if you want? Is that even possible?

Reason I ask is that I wanted to make a model similar to a .30 caliber or MG-42, but Star Wars-ified that can be mounted on window sills or short walls or similar locations.

Games I've played that allow you to detach mounted weapons keep the player view in 3rd person.

For little changing the topic i think that the default model sucks. If somebody would try to make first person view ( which is in 3 person like DT85 said) it would be nice if he creates the new eweb model.

 

It would be nice though but it is working like the in game eweb or a new weapon that is in player equipment?

Needs a torso animation for holding the weapon as well. You'd need this either way for when you can see the weapon on other players.
