KhaosNite
So, I was looking into coming up with a no-armed character for a RP group, and when I removed the arms, shoulders, and hands in the .skin file, I'm left with a gaping hole where the arm would protude from: I'm curious if there is any way to flatten that hole out, or if it's just destined to be that way because the model.Using http://jkhub.org/files/file/2138-mon-calamari-in-jedi-clothes/ Thanks. mrwonko
Ugh, this is somewhat tricky. The model has caps for those holes, but they default to off. It's a flag in the model.glm file that controls this; I guess you'd have to disable it, i.e. change the .glm file (work with a copy). If you import the model with my Blender plugin, you can change the flag (should suffice to do it in LOD0 since it's shared across LODs) and re-export the model; it should still work. I never tried this, but it ought to work. Link to comment
KhaosNite
I have no experience with Blending, or modeling in general, so I wouldn't know where to look.Sorry, I should have made that clear. Link to comment
Silverfang
Check this file as an example of how to do it without editing the model http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Rodian_No_Vest;79358Credit to @@Inyri for this one This will only work if the creator of the model included caps for the model of course. mrwonko
Right, .surf files. I didn't think of that since base models don't use them and I never used them either. Link to comment
Maui
Here http://www.mediafire.com/download/oasumkzyjaat86z/Mon_Calamari_NoArms.pk3 I hope this helps. What I tried is editing the torso abit, and yeah.. I deleted all the rest of the stuff in it, like the robes, arms, etc. If you still want them, then tell me. Link to comment
