Sigbit Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Howdy. To make this as quick as I can, I made a model using 3DSMax, I did the weighing, I did the heirarchy, I made it into a .glm ect, ect. However, after I made everything in the model/player/... and all that madness, I go into the game and attempt to use the model and it gives me this lovely message: "WARNING: Attempted to load an unsupported multiplayer model <name of model>! (bad or missingbone or missing animation sequence).I've got absolutely no clue why it does that and I'm not sure what I'm meant to do to actually fix it- I'd really appreciate any help that I can be provided with to get this done. Thank you!
Boothand Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Is this for JK2 or JA? And which file did you use for the skeleton? Or actually, which tutorial did you follow?
mrwonko Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 The model has to use the _humanoid skeleton. There's a german tutorial on http://mrwonko.de/tutorials/player_modelling_tut.htm, the images may be of help.
minilogoguy18 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Something tells me that he made the GLM in the method in which a static model would be made and the bones were not carried over. http://psyko3d.50webs.com/tutorials/jk2_guide.htm
Gambino Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 was this ever fixed cause i hav the same problem
mrwonko Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 You're the one who has to fix his model, it's not an issue with the game.
Tempust85 Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Should see if the model loads in modview first, that will help eliminate a few ideas of what's going on.
