Rage Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 @@Asgarath83: Thanks man! Though I don't want to copy Szicos map in any way I mostly orianted it on the TES series and wanted to create nice medieval-looking houses set a little bit in the fantasy style. I can pass you the map-files for learning and practising, though they are not in the stage of being complete Asgarath83 likes this
Asgarath83 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Yes, can really be helpful for me. but i not wanna stole works, so i not use brush or textures.I need really to see how is maded a fantasy village.
AshuraDX Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 @@Rage , for your candle Light shader you could try 3 things : a. use yiour candle shader as spriteimage for a sprite drawing shader , then apply that sprite shader to a little plane that's horizontal above the candlethe sprite should then get drawn upright on top of the plane and should allways turn to face the player b.simply use FX runners for your candle flames c. (for cheap) just use 2 planes with your candlelight shader and turn the copy around 90°
Pande Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 This texture is just one smaller texture tiled 2x each way - you can do the same in Radiant with Fit > 0.5 by 0.5 No need to make the texture 4x larger in file size.

Right. i Know the fit function of the texture, is possible to fix the texture for making a fractal with every decimal valor, is very useful tool of gtkradiant... but is VERY boring and slow to use LOL. texturing is not much bad in a map building... but Fit the textures...aaaaaargh! Oh my god! :\ sometime it makes me crazy, every value i use, i obtain or a fractal too much repetitive, or a texture so Great to be... well, pixellate. every one know how can i solve this little problem?
Rage Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 Thanks for your suggestions @@AshuraDX I will absoloutely try it out, sounds very useful! Yea, I just wanted to show how the textures looks like when it's smaller, I think the border in the middle is quite thick then, but thanks anyway @@Pande!
