  6. Those face textures look awesome but he looks way healthier in those screenshots than he is portrayed in the movie. By the end of episode VI he look's pretty freaking pathetic. It might be weird to do something like that though because the shape of his face is different from the model you're using.
  7. When I first saw it, I thought it was expertly photosourced based on the modview pictures but the ingame screenshot looks pretty fantastic, especially the eye glow. The only thing that bothers me is the shadows, but given the lighting on this game its understandable. Vader's helmet is pretty damn shiney with the exception of IV which had a dull plastic look, and towards the end of VI where the helmet is a bit scratched up from the duel with Luke. If he plans on doing a "worn" version it makes sense to do the "clean" one first.

  9. Just played through the first level and I noticed that in this pic you have the floor and ceiling textures reversed.

I've always had the idea of having a button to toggle between offense/defense "styles" where the defense style would let you autoblock everything except very strong hits that count against a block "pool". I think it could still take skill because I'd imagine there being a certain amount of time for you to switch bake to defense after making an offensive move, but something like that would need more discussion, testing, etc. I'm certain that it would be a pain for the last animators/coders we have even if they did develop a system similar to this.

  15. ^ Plo Koon's pic The Ravensoft texture towards the top of the head looks like fish scales to me, or exposed brain or something like that. Plo Koon's head doesn't have that kind of scaley-ish/brain stuff on his head, instead he has ... I can't even describe it. It's just different. Compare it with the SS taken of the robed Kel'Dor and you'll see what I mean Plus, Plo Koon's little.. fin thingies? Whatever, they're a little lighter than the Ravensoft texture

The NPCs in JKA are laughable, stormtroopers stand still and shoot at you, Sith run at you even after witnessing about 5 of their own being slaughtered, sometimes they will run off a cliff and fall to their death, most campaign missions can be easily completed in 5-10 minutes, etc. SP just has little to no challenge, the SP mods out there that give unrealistic health amounts to NPCs aren't any fun either, in fact the only SP mod I actually ever liked was Syndicate: Initiation which was mostly just puzzles.

  19. I would rather see JK2 and JKA revamped with HD textures, models, shaders, sounds, music, maps, etc. first, at least. But that's just my personal fantasy that I doubt people will get behind. Also, I heard Unreal is a B to mod in, so GL with that.

  22. I was under the impression that doing that was illegal, but it's also a little confusing to me since a lot of big mods (MB2, JKG) use music from the SW soundtrack, as well as use sound effects from other games.
  23. I'd imagine that the team could put in a feature to allow you to change JA engine to JO engine or something like that. Honestly, I'd rather see JA and JO as just one game. There could be a filter on the server browser to choose from JO-like settings and JA-settings, same for SP where you get the option of having JO or JA settings. Splintering off just isn't a good idea right now, in my opinion.
