      1. Back up your data (emails and contacts), then uninstall Outlook.

       

      2. Remove all settings and caches of Outlook -- move them into a folder on the Desktop. Be sure to look in hidden directories such as AppData as well for them.

       

      3. Re-install Outlook and set it up again from scratch. If the issue was with Outlook and not Windows itself, this should get things working again.

       

      4. (Optional) Send a fuck-you letter to Microsoft.
