Your icon shader may be need to be added to the gfx.shader (I think it's called that), as some things like icons and console are read from a specific shader

Hmm... I just tried that. Copied the gfx.shader and put it into a separate pak. And at the bottom of it were all my icon shaders. Unfortunately, now no shader worked! hahah

Its a ROQ video that runs via shader. Check the .menu file for the correct path, but I believe the ROQ is found in the 'video' directory.

Yep. THAT one is. But there's another file which is put later on. And I've found it now.

It's called "main_centerblue.jpg"

I've prepared a new set of icons for a release of new force icons. And I've been editing through ShaderEd2. The problem I am having, which I am unable to solve or understand, is that the extra images I've added for background for rage recovery icon - work perfectly in ShaderEd2... but they don't show up in-game? Is this icon some sort of special case or...? I mean, all should work. All other icon work perfectly with same image and coding.

OJP basic and OJP-E has holocron gametype, but if there are any other mods there has it i don't know for sure.

I don't know if this is the right area to ask this - but... I wonder; is there any Holocron mini-mod for JKA? One that enables Holocron FFA/TFFA/CTF and Jedi Master game modes for JKA?
Basically - I am almost done with my "Ultimate Force Icons" mod, where I have added new icons and new backgrounds for JKA (yes the SP Menu now has music)... and to complete it,
I would Love to have these game modes to be incorporated in my mod, where the Holocron force colors matches that of mine in the mod.

Heyo, guys...

I've been modifying the game's menu background images - but I can't make screenshots. Not even if I bind a key to it. And print screen just delivers a black image. Any thoughts?

When you just start JKA, there's a video of sorts in that middle ring menu. But when you click "NEW" or "LOAD" or whatever... the video in the center ring disappears, and is apparently replaced by a static image file. But I am unable to locate it. Can anyone tell me what image it is? Thank you.

Yep. I solved it. It was in .shader files. Had to use GL_ONE_SRC_ALPHA something for the icon frame and it worked Used ShaderEd2 to check it out.

I recently created a new Force Icons set which will be added in a whole new pack. I've made a set which would show in SP Force choice menu, and for MP force display. They work perfect in the single player force choise menu before a mission, but when you use the icon sets in multiplayer (or just simply switch/use force powers), their alpha channel isn't read well at all - and they look so corny and absolutely horrid. Anyone knows why? :/ Yes, I have named them all correctly.

Music and Video Games. ForceMod 3 to be specific (albeit I wish the bugs there were fixed and it added abilities of JA+ and JA++)

Korriban 1+2 Dark side, not only because of the satisfaction gained from killing both the Jedi and Sith that stand in your way, but because I find these two levels the only really challenging levels in the entire game, besides maybe the Chandrila level. I also think that the dark side ending seems more proper for the story, considering all that Jaden has been through, but that's just my opinion.

 

My favorite part of the DS ending has to be how Kyle fits the part of the Final Boss perfectly, I think. Kyle constantly keeps reminding Jaden that he doesn't want to fight him, let alone kill him, but he has no choice. Kyle's also the only boss that actually grapples you (iknowkungfu)and forcefully removes your saber from your hand at random moments, which is a nice little addition to his repertoire, but also a disappointing reminding that no one else in game uses that ability. A shame really, considering how the some enemies, like the unarmed cultists, sure could have used those skills to raise up their level of difficulty.

 

There's also a line that Kyle says during the battle which strike me as ironic, "I am your master!" Earlier in the game though, Kyle says that "titles make my skin crawl. Secondly, you're not serving under me." Definitely shows you how Kyle isn't exactly in the same mindset he was in before, huh? One of Kyle's victory lines is actually even him apologizing to Jaden after having won the fight. Kyle's lines are one the main reasons why I love his boss fight.

Only??? I find all reborns to be cheap b*stards. LOL And Kyle was just... ugh... don't even want to mention it. They use cheap tricks to get their things through. Upping reborns with that ability... I wouldn't stand it. Would just uninstall the game. lol

My favs are

- Dosunn (Love the architecture - especially the part where you were shutting down security lockdown).

- Kril'Dor (Love ninjaing and sniping my way around. Beautiful architecture, skybox, and beautiful wind and music to it. Very relaxing.)
- Bakura (Love ninjaing there as well. Love the music and the wind.)

- Tattooine - Droid Recovery (nice music, nice setting)

- Blenjeel

- Byss

- Hoth (1st part)

Those are the only maps I enjoy plaing in SP. All other I find boring lol.

This is one of the many things drawn by code and not referenced in the HUD menu files unfortunately.

Yep... I suspected as much. As no matter how I tried couldn't get it to work the way I wanted it to.

I not know how is possible to help you, but the only way i think can work is a LONG and HARD edit of the HUD code into the SP game code. O.o

I've checked it bro. And I've checked some other .menu files as well, but couldn't get it working. :/ But then again, I am no pro coder. So...

I like it. I'm not a fan of the saber style bar overlapping the character though.

I gave up on this project and came back to JKA. The T-800 model would in no way be able to work in JKA due to its triangle count (which is necessary for all the damn pistons unfortunately).

Awww... allright. Too bad the T-800 model wouldn't work. And... it may be a good thing you gave up on the project. It's time consuming, and finding peeps really be able to help out is hard. Thanks for letting us know.

Well... apart from having her in some nice langerie like seen in Google search (you really can't miss it... just Google jarael star wars LOL).... What I could suggest is following:

1.) Just a bit more shadowing around the pants and wrist bands so they look more believable.
