I'm converting about 5 seconds worth of cutscenes form dark forces right now (need screenshots for my empire at war mod), ill tell you how they turn out

Yeah, it's great. I used it to upscale all the base JKA textures by 4x, and it works for me for the most part, don't know why it crashed for Lancelot, but a few textures are blacked out for some reason, which is why I didn't upload it on here, still have to figure out why it does that. But it looks much better overall.

And I heard there is software which can upscale the cutscene resolution aswell, which I plan to do sometime, but converting videos is quite more time consuming since each frame has to be upscaled individually, although the software can do it all by itself in one row, just takes a while.

Because comic books cater to a less wide audience, and are more "local" than movies are. Either that, or I'm just wrong and upset we don't get to see more Empire-centered content that isn't comics.

Don't get me wrong. i don't hate Evaan verlaine. Had they made her a veteran of a battle not in the movie it would have been fine but i hate Rae Sloan. Rae would have fit alot more in the rebel alliance as second to ackbar or resistance grand admiral

But Rae Sloane wasn't a male in the old canon? Keyan was replaced with Evaan.

Rae didn't exist in legends. They created her only for the new canon. I am not usually like this for real life people. Tbh it only feels like she was added because the old grand admirals were male.

Ugh, it's gonna be a waste, although i can understand why they chose the period, and 'cash-in' on the new part of the franchise is not the only reason

It takes place 3 years after ROTJ. I doubt it will involve much of the main saga plot at all, unless they plan to recast all of the characters, which I highly doubt they would do. Sounds like it's going to be a brand new story with new characters.

My interest is very low, maybe if i have some time to kill. That headpiece doesn't match the character's meshes tho.

Crouched as in 'hold C and move forward', or as in 'bend over and walk'? Because if it's the second, they did so in a couple of scenes in ANH, though not exactly as 'bent over' as might come to mind
