      I loved how unique the Thing was, I had never seen any kind of monster or creature like it. The special effects are amazing too for 1982.

      Yeah, what I'm thinking of is just a simple option in the menu below the "Saber only" option for "Guns only."

      A guns-only mode would be pretty cool. I'll look into seeing if I can put something together with the OpenJK source.

      The other reason why I hate JA multiplayer is that almost all servers are saber only. It would have been nice to have a few with guns for a Quake 3 style gun match. A lot more CTF servers would be good, every time I go on there's only like 1 or 2, each of which are all full of bots.

      What really needs to happen is for EA or Disney to make a good Star Wars game that is as moddable as Jedi Academy. I doubt that will ever happen any time soon though.

      Also @Cerez, a "Fuck you" letter to Microsoft is pretty unfair to be honest, he's using an OS and email client that's like 13 years old and unsupported. I actually kind of like Microsoft now with Windows 10 and the new direction of their company with Satya Nadella.

      Yep, that's what I would recommend and I still would highly recommend changing your OS if possible. Windows XP is not secure anymore.

      OK then. Support for XP was dropped years ago and hardly anyone uses it so I don't think you'll get much help.

      Why don't you just upgrade to a newer OS? Windows XP with Outlook 2003? Get Windows 7/10 or Linux if you can't afford it. Back up your mail data and then import it with something like Thunderbird on your new OS.

    After replaying JKO's campaign recently, I realized I enjoyed JKA more than JKO. JKO had story yes, but the level design was very repetitive compared to JKA, which had a lot of variety (although not a compelling story).
