I tried to compile 64-bit and 32-bit but I've hit a brick wall even with all the libraries installed. The whole ./build.sh under SConstruct seems all messed up. I was wondering if anyone maybe have any newer builds of JA++ linux32 on dropbox or something so I could grab. I've managed to find on these forums an old October 2014 build.

How does one get a hold of ja++ these days?
-
I am running Windows 8.1 64-Bit. The weirdest thing is I had the plugin in the japlus directory and it failed to load even with japro3.pk3. But it is working now so that is better than nothing.
-
Actually I had to put the client plugin in C:\Users\bleh\Documents\My Games\JA\GameData\japlus for it to load.
-
For some reason the client for these mods refuse to detect or load properly it says either you need to download the plugin or the client plugin is undefined. Anyone else who runs openjk experience these type of problems? --Wookiee

What about the free in-game url redirect service like de.jk3.in is that another service going also?
-
I agree with that Intone.
-
Okay raz0r
-
I've been testing this also and it is far from being complete with still full of bugs & broken compared with jaPRO, I can understand the reason of OpenJK being developed.
-
I chuckle at this video
-
jaPRO is another mod also I have been testing too feel free to try out at https://sites.google.com/site/japrojka/download
-
Maybe because you like to play on 'social mods'. Add this to this list Slink JA+ ruined JKA with abusive admin commands
-
Loda added that damage output for you there shake Take a look at the https://sites.google.com/site/japrojka/changelog
-
openjk(ded) is not needed at this time just a regular linuxjampded or jampDed.exe which is supplied that modifies the binary.
-
I will do that now, its not easy to think when coffee runs out.

Let me start off saying this is the first time I have ever decided to write a review like this on jkhub and be a tester. What is jaPRO? It is a mod started by loda from modbase put together by raz0r and other jacoders with the security fixes. There are alot of features and new ideas taken from popular mods. What does jaPRO do for me? A better sabering environment from base, lag compensation either using guns or force, tweaking current weapons for different effects, non abusive admin commands from JA+, voting system, 2 admin levels fullAdmin or junior and a very long readme file listed HERE of what can be changed. From FFA, TFFA and CTF gamemodes there are lots of things to toggle to get the server with no force or with force how you want to run it. Better client smoothing when you have the client installed in the japro directory. Why should I even bother using jaPRO? Those who maybe looking for another option other than running JA+ or any other mod which is old and can be crashed, DoS attacked or exploited. How can I contribute to jaPRO to make this a better mod? There are forums setup at http://japro.tagmanpro.com/ you can post the requests and suggestions in the modding folder. Where can I get jaPRO client at? Right here at https://sites.google.com/site/japrojka/download. Where can I run the jaPRO server? Right here at https://www.dropbox.com/s/m7bcqyakrwuk829/japro3.zip Extract to your GameData folder - constantly being updated when a new version is out. Review Let me say I found this not easy at first there was many problems found like being stuck in players after pulling them in, medipaks and armor do not respawn in the original place when set to pull or push them. On the sabering side of things I had it set to MP damages and any base player would notice the difference than on a popular NF JA+ server like JAWA or EK. There is still alot of things to do and the lead coder loda is always open for new idea's to improve jaPRO. --Wookiee

That game server host only allows private servers with a password and not public. -
To save posting in two threads of an open invitation to crash my server and jkhub JA+ server, now merged into one. While Raz0r is getting closer and closer for the JA ++ server release weeding out the bugs or crashes, I've been given the privilege to run JA++ server side mod, as many testers may not have been able to get on Raz0rs home testing server. I am sure Raz0r is still looking for more testers to come and find bugs/crashes. Below is the address if you would like to see JA++ server in action (don't forget to grab the japp client side plugin here) - IP - 27.50.71.188:29070
