Patch Notes - 09/16/2019 MISSION IMPROVEMENTS YOU HAVE BECOME A RIVAL - During the 1st cutscene, Palpatine will no longer jerk his head suddenly and will now take his time. - Added a missing sound for the final unfortunate victims of Sidious's Force Choke. - Changed the overall mechanics of stage 1 and 2. You will no longer be required to drain the health of both Maul and Savage in order to progress. You will only be required to take down the health of one of the brothers in order to progress. - In light of the change to stages 1 and 2, Maul's health in both stages has been increased from 1000 to 1500. - In light of the change to stages 1 and 2, and due to the less challenging nature of the two brothers, Savage Opress's health has been increased from 1000 to 2500. - Corrected an issue where Savage's corpse would suddenly come back to life. If he's hit, he dies, for real. - Savage will now show an effect of the Nightsister magic leaving his body. - Created a whole new ending cutscene to overall improve the experience of the ending of the mission. The mission complete message has been removed.

A massive breakthrough has been discovered in the mod! Waypoints and "smarter" npcs are at last possible. By adding in certain entities in the maps, it is now possible for allies and enemies to pursue you or other enemies. You should no longer need to worry about npcs moving too far away from each other and freezing in place, afraid of moving. Edits have also been made to the code for us to be able to create waypoints at an extremely rapid pace across all maps in Single Player. Full production is at last possible, but will be delayed as we address other things. In efforts to test this, waypoints and point_combats have been added to the Star Forge, Snoke's Throne Room, and the Naboo Chamber maps in the mod. In addition to this, the bonus mission Revan vs. Malak has been updated to reflect these changes. You should immediately notice a difference as to how the NPCs behave. Small arena maps will be updated in the very near future to reflect these changes, and allow you to hopefully enjoy your interactions with the npcs. Please let us know your feedback as to how this works. You can download this Open Beta through the launcher at your convenience. tl;dr: Revan vs. Malak and the Star Forge maps have waypoint and point_combat entities, and should therefore make all npcs spawned in the map much smarter in terms of following and pursuing enemies (or you). V7.7 of the launcher has been released! You may download via the Updater or the download link up above. - You will now be required to run the Launcher as an administrator. Failure to do so will result in an error message. - Added code to remove files unnecessary for the mod at a later date. - Fixed an issue with the code where the Updater would crash upon completing the download and was checking args for the shut down command.

You'll have to I'm afraid. Though a part 2 for Knightfall is in development to finish it up, the next update is Knights of the Force 2.2

Right now they're considered Jedi of different alien races, that's all. Characters like those you described should be given proper appearances. Plus the Gran Jedi we have is Male. Maks Leem is female.

It's with a heavy heart that I will be needing to put the July 15th update on hold. As we near our August 9th release date for Operation: Knightfall, efforts will need to be focused on that mission. Voiid's schedule is picking up at his job, and left alone he will not make the deadline. As I'm sure all of you are looking forward to Knightfall more than a few Order 66 mini missions, I have decided to postpone the update until further notice. Operation: Knightfall will be the last update for 2.1, and we will begin production on Game Update 2.2 shortly after. I hope you understand this decision, and we look forward to delivering this mission to you. As always, thank you for following the development of Knights of the Force, and may the Force be with you.

Today we've received intelligence that the Galactic Empire has perfected the technology needed to achieve time travel. Delta Squad, after finally tracking down their long-lost squad member Delta 07, codename Sev, has volunteered to test this technology and take out key targets from across galactic history. We have confirmed that their first 3 targets will be the former Sith Lord Revan, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and an unknown individual known as Kylo Ren. While we are certain these will be the first targets, there may be more, depending if Delta Squad is successful in their mission. Witnesses to these assassinations should look for a new option in the menu which will be labeled "Order 66". These events will be made public to the galaxy on July 15th

When I began creating Duel of the Fates on Halloween 2017, I had to learn everything essentially from scratch. All I had to help me were the source files for a well-known Single Player mod for Jedi Academy, called Deception. Creating maps of our favorite locations is amazing, creating and playing as our favorite characters helps us to immerse ourselves in our experience. But it is in my opinion that the true art of Jedi Academy's Single Player experience, is in the ability to create and share your own stories. I have noticed in the past several years, that mission designing is becoming a lost art. With the exception of Total Conversions like Movie Duels, Escape Yavin IV, and others, individually created levels have become lost with time, and I understand why. Tutorials for level design are scarce, with very few opportunities to learn. All we have is the ability to learn from the past, and allow our imaginations to run wild. My releasing of the source files comes with the hope that you will have everything you need to learn, and to create your own rich, and engaging stories. From creating something as simple as a conversation between two characters, to recreating your favorite moments from the films, video games, TV shows, and even books. Packaged with this file is also everything you will need to compile entity modded maps, which is how every single mission for Knights of the Force thus far has been made. I will also leave a link to Jedi Academy's SDK, which has the tool you'll need in order to get started: BehavED.
