i have discovered the problem to the file AND have a fix!! i opened the pk3 in 7zip after i noticed the game telling me in the console "WARNING: Couldn't find image for shader models/players/swtorrevan/~~~~~.tga" and found the the missing images its referring to are actually in the folder path "models/players/FMswtorrevan/". so what i did to fix this was copy the "FMswtorrevan" folder to my desktop, rename the copy to "swtorrevan" and place it in the "models/players/" folder with the "FMswtorrevan". after you've done this it should work near perfectly. i say near because there is a imagefile missing from the pk3 titled "offeecape.jpg". but all this causes is for the cape to be invisible from the front. hope this helps everyone who wants this mod as much as i did

can i just say how much i LOVE this file?! lol ive been searching for months for a new site to get jedi academy mods from since filrfront crapped out, and this is by far the coolest looking skin ive ever seen for jedi academy.
