Because typing it in the console I was informed; cvar "setforcerepulse"  does not exist.

I'm running my setup through JK Enhanced so I'd rather not do that. 

It's only that particular set, not the headpiece but the body that's causing the lightsaber blade of the PC to disappear and seemingly do no damage. 

That body design and the versions with the robes over it. 

The rest of the sets in "Aayla Secura" work fine. 

There's a problem with this, all lightsaber blades are broken on this outfit.

& All the robed versions of this outfit, would really love a fix as unfortunately this is my favourite character mod in JK lol.

Why does a video game have to follow the movies in detail? They are different formats. That you can not perform offensive Force powers without being evil, or that you can not use a lightstaff and two lightsabers for different occasions, are things that can reduce the fun.

Never said this. Just said what I think the game should or shouldn't include. 

Nah lightning is OP garbage; lightning also never killed anyone outright in canon like it does at in JKA; it's nonsense that Jaden Korr could case something that powerful. And illogical that Kyle could IMO.

It should have a more in depth lightsaber system with forms and everything.

Force powers should be essentially kept to what Obi-Wan can do; with some force powers like, breach, choke and telekinesis thrown in there. Not every Jedi should be able to use the force at an (Episode III) Anakin talent level, nevermind lighting more powerful than the Emperor's.

I think you're going overboard a little bit with the force powers.

I feel like some of the force powers you suggest are too complicated.

And, to speak to force sight specifically, if you remember, JKA actually had some puzzles

that required your force sight ability, but there were only about three such puzzles in the entire game.

Most of the force powers JKA added felt gimmicky and unnecessary.

I'd like to see force powers focused around movement and combat primarily.

Same, I also believe Lightning shouldn't be in the game- in the EU anyone could use it almost which made Darth Sidious' mastery of it and the impact of him using it in EPVI less than special. 

If I had my way and it was canon, apart from Lord Tyrannus and Darth Sidious only two other Sith, Lord Of Hunger; Nihilus and Darth Malak would be able to cast it.

Summary: Alec Guinness did NOT hate Star Wars, Sebastian Shaw was completely clueless, and Jar Jar actually had potential as a character had Lucas listened to a talented actor's wisdom and experience.

Okay so I've tried all of these in the autoexec.cfg and none seemed to have any effect although that might be to do with my saves. 

It doesn't recognise "setaforcerepulse" or "seta_forcerepulse" in the console either. I dislike bumping but I have to ask what is the correct phrase exactly?

Shouldn't that be imperfect? 

I've found meaning in the new movie's title:

 

"Luke, when gone am I, the last of the Jedi will you be. The Force runs strong in your family -- pass on what you have learnt."

 

It comes awkward after "The Force Awakens", but in this context it actually makes sense, and the title seems to imply that this movie will be about Luke and his family/legacy indeed.

 

I think I may have figured out the family story as well... (Major Spoiler Warning!)

 

 

Kylo Ren and Rey are siblings. I think Luke never had an heir. This is why Leia and Rey embraced, why Han was so fatherly towards her, and what Daisy Ridley was hinting at -- that Rey's parents are obvious in the film. Rey is a Skywalker, not from Luke's side, but from the other hope. Leia and Han's children are Ben and Rey Solo. Luke must have failed Ben, and that contributed to him going into exile/hiding and abandoning his role as a teacher. R2D2 woke up because Rey arrived (Luke programmed it to do that). The question remains, who the f*ck is Snoke, and where did he come from to influence Ben??

 

Also, Rey's real name is definitely not Rey (based on her father's reaction).

On a side note, the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that they should have put Dave Filoni's creative team in charge of the new film series' story. I don't think there's a single writer out there at the moment who understand the original trilogy better than this writing team did with their extensive research and experience in the world of Star Wars.

 

Plus, Filoni is a fan of strong female leads. I get the feeling the work he would have done on Rey would have turned her into a much more interesting, and more developed person/character. They could also have consulted Katie Lucas. (That is if they hadn't ruined their relationship with George...)

It's not like Filoni doesn't work there- but I'd have to agree I think he would've been a great consultant at least.

I mean let's look at character motivations from TFA:

 

Rey:

Her newly found mentor and father figure, who told her about the Jedi was killed, and she fought the killer hand to hand, scarring him, saving her friend, and narrowly escaping. Does she have any reason to face the villain again? Not really. In her position, and with her experience, I would take the ship, and get as far away from the enemy as possible. Her only motivation, as far as I can see, is her curiosity for her newly discovered powers, and the Jedi -- that led her to Luke.

 

Finn:

Revenge against Kylo Ren for what he did to him? Would Finn even consider versing Kylo again? o.O I guess Finn does have a good reason to seek Jedi training if he plans to face Kylo again. Apart from that, he cares for what happens to Rey as a friend, sort of.

 

Poe:

To fight for freedom? Does he have any meaningful motivations?

 

Kylo:

To take revenge on Rey and to eliminate the Jedi and prove himself worthy. He will very likely become obsessed with Rey's whereabouts, and try to track her down to finish the job and settle the score.

What about Rey's parents? Surely that's a motivation in some respect.

You should be set, if it doesn't work then you might wanna bind the command to a key so you can at least have easy access to the command.

Yes but have I overlooked something like quotation marks?

I really don't want to have to bind it to a key. 

Don't have Jk:E installed atm, but I'm pretty sure you could put that command in your auto.exe. The command should be issued every time you launch up the game. 

Like;

I like the idea of adding Battle droids, maybe old rusted ones in use by the remnant to Jedi Academy. 

Jedi Academy was always too easy and in need of more enemies anyway.

Nah permanently pls, having to enable this every time I open JKE and start a new mission is irritating. 

Is there any way to do this? It's not useful to me and just clogs up the Force Power list in SP honestly. 

No but I do get an error when new things load in, in the text box in the top left for item pickup etc
