Some 5 (was it 5?) years ago I downloaded a map called "Sith Chaos Dimensions". It was a duel map (though you could play FFA on it too) that was like a floating platform "in space" (the skybox), with red translucent spikes and spinning bits. Some water on the ground, and it featured Apocalyptica's track "Cult", which added immersion. Now I don't remember the author, or where I got the map from exactly - either here, or from lucasfiles (since I can't find it here, it was probably the latter, but since that was shutdown, I can't even check).

Any of you played it? And any of you, by any chance still have it? If so, please send it my way, it'll be appreciated!

I know you guys do, but I already know how to open shader files, that's why I'm asking for help - I open the file, but don't know what to change exactly (then again, I downloaded a "ghost morgan katarn" mod that's got a translucency shader. might try to change the texture path and see where that goes...

Notepad, some text editor or the shader editor that ships with the sdk tools.

You edit/create or remove .shader files. Just don't touch the original ones in the game's .pk3. Instead create a new .pk3 with the same path and it should be used instead of originals.

Hmm... if you ask me, a character like Ahsoka (later in the series) would be fantastic. A kickass Padawan that you look up to at the beginning of the game, who then suddenly turns on the Jedi Academy and joins the dark side (with good reason, of course), to your great shock/surprise.

Didn't they do that to Barriss Offee in TCW? She was right you know, not head on, but still right.

But returning to topic - I wouldn't change anything about Rosh. He's overconfident, impatient, and cowardly - those are the reasons he turned to the Dark Side. I think he's a good character that is supposed to be annoying (so as to show how good a jedi Jaden is for forgiving him).

Jaden - now that's a character I'd change. (at least, the male voiceover)

I've noticed that the game is somewhat sexist and even a bit gay: the main good guys are male, the main baddies are female; in the post-training cutscene Jaden gets upset like a girl (or at least, a kid); Jaden is unresponsive to Alora's flirting (and I doubt it's a Jedi thing since Kyle has it with Jan, and Luke has it with Mara); Tavion's acting like an unsatisfied lover...

For the slowest machine a TFU conversion for JKA can bee intriguind, but need... coding work for powers.

maps, models... there is a TFU mod expansion about Knight of the force... i tried years ago, there was just the kashyyyk battle. really well done the first level and the gameplay but for making the repulse of force they simply make g_knockback in autoexec.cfg...

a true TFU gameplay need also code work about force powers... : \

some character on moddb is doing a conversion, but I don't know how he's progressing, haven't seen any updates in a while...seems to have done good work by now, judging by his uploaded vids

The game has RGB shaders, shine shaders, invisibility shaders (saboteur, shadowtrooper), and I've also seen some mods that make parts of models transparent with different colors. So, how do I add and remove shaders?

Half of those are sabers from the movies, and are in JKA already. All the other ones, probably not.

well, if you ever played SWTOR as a male Sith Inquisitor, then you may know what I'm talking about

I could stretch the meshes out on the model, if you want. It looks a little weird (the legs sometimes clips through the robe) but I have done that with some of my models before. It may take me sometime, but it shouldn't be to hard.

I though about that too, but but it depends on how you do it...another way is to take Jaden human male second torso (the one with back flap) and turn the flap around. that's an example though

@@the_raven That's because they have to be, the skeleton is locked to 1 scale only. They do work fine as NPC.

Can anyone make a long skirt of the jadens? Because those flaps have become boring...

I would do this myself, but I suck at modelling (couldn't even finish modelling a lightsaber! ). Now I know there was a falleen jaden mod, and a human female character with robe options but those aren't what I'm looking for (besides, those wouldn't work for zabrak or twi'lek, or even the male chars)

I was wondering - is there a way of getting shoulderpads on Jaden characters? for example, the jaden twi'lek has a shoulderpad in one of the outfits, but it's part of the torso itself...

I don't know how I fixed it...I found some saber file (was it ui/saber? I don't remember) and found the styles there, then I edited it a bit and now I have: yellow, red, desann, tavion, GREEN, fast (which is either tavion or a fast-animation yellow), and the stance is saber turned off, except it's on...something like that...

I think the purpose for a Force Unleashed mod is for folks like me, whose PC can't run TFU.

Damn, I've had so much trouble with TFU! TFU1 was really glitchy in big, open spaces (my graphics card was kinda weak). But it worked (I even managed to beat the game and the dlc's on lowest graphics settings). Funny thing about TFU2 is that I could never run in my pc because it kept telling me that my cpu was too weak, but once I did manage to get it running, it worked better than TFU1! Strange!

one of the things I hate the most about Yoda/ Jawas/ Ewoks skins is that people make 'em so huge...
