Dude, it's 2013, if your net is too slow to download a small update then you might as well throw your computer out a window.

And yet I don't even have the net at my apartment. Soonish after I get my computer though. The only thing I worry about with steam is if the net does go down will I beable to play my games?

Its not the slowness its the amount they throw at you every moment. And most updates break the game while console I dont got to worry

But enough about the steam and its faults everyone knows. "steam sucked all day" and will continue til SteamBox is released...then it will get worse.
