  1. Maybe someone could make a Frankenstein'd Hapslash model with Galak's head instead? I imagine the model itself wouldn't be hard to edit, but getting all of the Skin and NPC files to be exactly the same as the original mod would be a little confusing. The model comes with so many parts that can be enabled/disabled that need to be accounted for so that it can match Hapslash's original model perfectly, such as plaques, code cylinders, holsters, etc. In the end, this may be the easier alternative. All of my issues are regarding the head and facial differences because it's really hard to tell the difference between the different model's torsos in the mech itself. I just want visible consistency. I can modify the textures, I just need the model itself with Galak's head. Here's the original model.   2. Galak's still feeling annoyed knowing that his uglier brother keeps borrowing his Cortosis mech when he's not looking. Please help the cause. Help us manage to get the surgery Hapslash's galak desperately needs to be fitted into the mech that rightfully belongs to him
  3. So I've been messing around with the NPCs in JK2 trying to get them completely the way I want them. The imperials were all done thanks to Hapslash's fantastic improved imperial model, but I forgot to edit Galak. His model, like the other original imperials, aged horribly. I decided to replace Galak's original model with Hapslash's imperial model and I also give Galak a slighly unique skin using assets from a couple different mods and my own minor revisions. This is how Galak looks now. I think that Galak looks great now, but the problem is that Galak in his Cortosis mech armor won't change won't change models from the old one to the new one. No matter what I've done, the end result is usually one of two things, Galak is either completely missing inside of his mech during the Doom_shields cutscene, or the new textures wrap incorrectly around the original model. I'm guessing that the Galak model segment of the Mech suit is integrated into the Galak_Mech model and cannot be replaced without editing the Galak_Mech model itself. My request is that someone could edit the Galak_Mech model so that the fragment of Galak's original model inside of the suit is replaced with Hapslash's model so I can get my new version of Galak to appear properly inside of the Suit.
  4. It must be the angle of the first picture, because I think the model, face textures included, looks great in the 2nd picture. The first picture made me laugh so damn hard
  5. Why do we still have no details about the Season Pass? I think we've waited long enough for some screenshots of new content or a trailer.

      and they work as they should, but i have not all the weapons for JKG, i only have does i like most from the mod :)

  11. There's been a mod/patch for Republic Commando that's been on Moddb for a bit less than a month. It allows for High quality bump mapping (without your computer crashing) and adds new resolution options all the way up to 4K resolutions. Holy hell, I had no idea how good the game looked with these options.

  12. Ralph Mcquarrie was such a brilliant artist. I'm glad to see his art is starting to to have an even bigger influence on Star Wars.

  13. Great model! You porting this means I can also use Barricade24's reskin. Thanks! No, but this with a little knowledge in editing NPC files and renaming the model's folder, it could. This leads me into my next question: I know that this may be asking for much, but do you think you could also port your ROTJ Stormtrooper model from JKA to JK2 as well?
  14. I reinstalled JK2 again, but I can't find the config.cfg files for MP or SP anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions?

      If you mean jk2mpconfig.cfg etc, it gets generated when starting the game.

      Do not enter MP without JK2MV by the way. There's an attacker on the loose, doing serious stuff. But the latest Jk2mv version keeps you protected, if you were gonna play MP.

  20. I've had this problem with JA for several years in SP. Whenever I have several mods installed, Rosh and some friendly NPC's will keep saying "stop that" as if I were attacking them, but I'm not. It can get a bit funny in certain cutscenes

  21. Yeah, the website has been having issues for years. This isn't just JK3files, but places like Kotorfiles and HL2files also. It would sometimes take me a dozen refreshes just to get a download page to work properly there. The polls they had there were the funniest because of the site's problems. When I would answer a poll from 2013, I wouldn't see the poll results, but get an option to vote on an older poll. After answering that, the results would have the title of the first poll but the answer and their percent votes from the 2nd poll. I remember one poll went something like this: Do you celebrate holidays? Top answer: What's an Oculus rift? There was also a map that had file of the week on there that was a Korriban tomb based map and had 1000+ downloads. I tried it out myself, and no offense to the map maker, but it's just a mediocre map with nothing special about it. Half the time, the website would show that as the file of the week, but a few refreshes later and you'd see the more updated site with a new file in it's place. I'm pretty sure the only reason it had so many downloads was because of how many people would notice it as the first thing they saw on JK3files. I hope some of the hidden gems on there are still in some peoples hands and can be re uploaded somewhere. I remember years ago when I would download tons of mods there. Damn.
  22. I love the Stormtrooper armor in episode VII, but I think it's too good for the average Stormtrooper. I feel like it should be reserved for some kind of special class or elite ST.

  24. How would I change an NPC's weapons in JK2? Modifying NPCs in JK2 is slightly different than in JKA.

      In the npc.cfg. It's the same as in JKA but in one file.

      I meant in terms of how one would change an NPC's weapon. I don't think just adding the line: WEAPON: WP_BLASTER works.

      Ohh right. Forgot JK2 doesn't have that line. I think weapons are scripted to NPCs then.
