  1. Steam Integration Tools

With the Steam Integration Tools, you can either:
Enable enhanced Steam functionality for mods which allow it, or: Get information about enabling enhanced Steam functionality in your own mods.

For instance, you can enable the Steam overlay in your custom mod, or enable Steam's Rich Presence, or perhaps provide support for Steam controllers!

Note that this is unsupported by Valve, Activision and Raven Software and done entirely at your own risk.

  2. AI Workshop

Have you ever wanted to manipulate NPCs like crazy? Well, this is the thing for you.
This thing adds over 30 console commands to manipulate the AI on a deep, technical level.
To activate the AI workshop, use the command "aiworkshop" to toggle it on or off.
You can read the full list of commands with the command "workshop_commands" or get help on a specific command with "workshop_cmdhelp"
When the AI workshop is enabled, highlighting an AI with your crosshair will show some information on the left.
You can select an AI with the "workshop_select" command and deselect with the "workshop_deselect" command.
When you have an AI selected, you can modify various things, like what their enemy is, what team they're on, force powers they use, etc etc.
The *vast* majority of the commands alter the AI on a low level and a lot of the things, like aiflags, classes, etc, are totally undocumented. You'll have to experiment to figure stuff out.
I've also raised the .sab, .veh, .vwp and .npc limit by 16x so you can play with more NPCs.
Also, you can spawn random NPCs with "npc spawn random". Check out the readme on how to use that.

The source code is provided so you can play around with it.

  3. Unofficial Vicarious Visions .GOB Tools

PLEASE READ THE LICENSE FILE BEFORE EXTRACTING.

These unofficial Vicarious Visions .GOB Tools allow you to manipulate the archive format of the console versions of Jedi Knight 2 and Jedi Academy (among other games). They include the following:
gobextract: Extract content from the .gob/gfc files. gobconvert: Convert a zip/pk3 into a .gob/gfc pair.

Please note that these are commandline tools - you will need to use them using the cmd.exe terminal on Windows.

  4. .menu Notepad++ Language

When installed correctly on Notepad++, this allows you to view syntax highlighting for .menu files. Very straightforward and simple.

This also includes keywords for Jedi Knight Galaxies-specific keywords, if that's your cup of tea.

  5. Fixed Jawa Sounds

This fixes the Jawa to have proper jumping, hard landing, and taunt sounds. Some additional sounds will play in SP now as well, as they were missing.

  6. Fixed VChat

    Background
As you are all aware, all characters using VChat sound like Jaden. This is really weird for some characters, like Stormtroopers, Rosh, etc. The reason this happened is because of a mistake while manufacturing the CDs. Each character needs att_position, att_primary, etc in order to use customized VChat correctly, and due to mistakes, these files never made their way onto the disc. Movie Battles II (somehow) got these files and have agreed to let me modify their files for general public use.

    Fixed Characters
The following is a list of characters which have been fixed:
    Alora
    Boba Fett
    Cultist
    Female Jedi (?)
    Hazardtrooper
    Human Merc
    Imperial
    Jedi
    Kyle
    Luke
    Noghri
    Lannik Racto
    Rax Joris
    Rebel Pilot
    Reborn Old and New
    Reborn Master/Twin/Kothos
    Rockettrooper (?)
    Rosh
    Imperial Saboteur
    Shadowtrooper
    Stormpilot
    Stormtrooper
    Swamptrooper
    Tavion, old and new

Q: Will this work in all mods?
A: No. These are just sound files, and they will work in any mod, except MB2 which altered their vchat code (they are working on it)

    Q: Why no aliens?
A: No lines recorded for vchat specifically. I may convert some extras, but it's better to have English-speaking vchat

  7. QEffects PRO

This works for both JK2 and JKA, in SP and in MP! PLEASE READ THE README FILE!
This is a proxy which alters your graphics to be improved. Features the following:

    Motion Blur
    Color Grading (improved)
    Anisotrophic Filtering
    Depth of Field
    Bloom
    Screen Space Ambient Occlusion
    Multitexturing
    And more...

Each version of the game is tailored to be different in terms of looks. You can customize the intensity of various effects.
    Here's the color scheme included:
    JK2 SP: Dark, gray, shadowy
JK2 MP: Same as JK2 SP, but lighter for better visibility ingame. (Reasoning: you have light amp goggles in SP, but not in MP). Slightly more colorful and less gray/dull.
JA SP: No change in color/saturation/lightness. Altered bloom. SSAO OFF.
JA MP: Same as JA MP, but slightly more saturation.

    Its official: Scooper is awesome.

  8. The JKA All Seeing Eye Server Browser Mod

This is a server browser mod which allows you to switch between different master servers, and allows you to filter by virtually every single mod in existence (except KotF and JKG). A must-have for anyone who wants to see any actual servers in existence (so basically everyone)

You can specify your own custom master server to track via sv_master4 and sv_master5, or by modifying any of the existing ones. Note that you will have to add this to a config file to make sure that the settings stick. The cvar will not stay through a game restart.

NOTE: QTracker may or may not work due to QTracker being a fake master server (not an actual one)
NOTE 2: JKG servers will not show up for multiple reasons, all of which are because of security or stability.

  9. Complete Console Font

Adds characters which are normally missing from the console font, but can show up in the chat.

    ¢£¤¥¦§¨ª«¬¯°±²³´µ¶·¸¹º»¼½¾

Previously, these characters were unusable in JA because the actual font file (charsgrid_med.tga) left the areas for these characters blank, causing them not to be drawn. However, the Q3 engine allows for them to be drawn, provided the spaces aren't blank.
Here are the alt codes for each character:
    ¢ through ¨ - 0162 through 0168
    ª - 0170
    « - 0171
    ¬ - 0172
    ¯ - 0175
    ° through ¾ - 0176 through 0190

This works in any mod that does not alter the console font. So far it has been included in MB2 (afaik)

  11. JK2:Uncut

    JK2: UNCUT
Underlying mod framework by eezstreet, content by Raven Software

    ===
    FEATURES
    ==

    - Nearly unbroken JK2 SP
    - JKA features cleverly snuck in a few spots (There are some rockettroopers and hazardtroopers snuck in, as well as the concussion rifle in a few missions)

    EVENTUAL FEATURES
    - Completely unbroken JK2 SP
    - JKA features blended in perfectly, with dual saber/saber staff/rancor/howler/cultist_destroyer/cultist_commando (these will be changed) NPCs in as well. All of the JKA stuff can be turned off.
    - Missing levels added (cairn_stockpile and cairn_docks1, cut from the game.)
    - Missing dialogue added (somebody call Johnny Bravo's agent plz kthx)
    - Achievements system (maybe steamworks integration??)
    - Extra stuff, such as random conversations with friendly NPCs
    - Trandoshans added to the bar on ns_streets (as bouncers, with extra dialogue as well! this was planned in JK2 but cut)
    - More and more cool stuff

    ===
    INSTALLATION
    ==

I don't give this file to just any special person, so consider yourself to be not a complete imbecile! I assume you understand how a basic mod installation works, so I'll just skip ahead to what you need to do once you're ingame:

    - devmap kejim_post (in console)
    - exec jk2.cfg (once ingame)

    ===

You're installing the alpha version of JK2:Uncut, the first of many total conversion mods for single player which involve code edits. There are several issues which need to be addressed first:
    - You do not start with the pistol, and you start with some force powers. However, this is corrected with the script i'm packaging with it
    - All cinematics with animations which aren't in JKA results in spectacular side effects, ranging from game freezes to bad cinematic quality
The above makes you unable to finish the following missions: artus_topside, yavin_temple, ns_streets
    - All water is solid (this cannot be fixed without either rewriting stuff in pmove or recompiling the map, take your pick)
This breaks yavin_swamp (unless you noclip past the parts)
yavin_canyon works very well though (the ATST is a bit easier to control, but the camera is a bit weird)
    - I have not tested past yavin_canyon (so expect bugs + probable crashes)
    - The act of picking up the saber in yavin_trials causes a crash
(I would just devmap to ns_hideout after you reach the breakiness in artus_topside tbh)
    - Lando sometimes tends to get stuck in ns_starpad (usually not in the same spot)
    - Weapon racks which give guns which aren't native to JKA (Gun racks supplying conc rifles, bowcasters, disruptors or flechettes) do not give any ammo
    - There is a crash in doom_shields whenever the gravity changes (not sure why)
    - Galak in the mech suit is ridiculously easy + the cinematic with him in the mech suit doesn't show his body (just the mech suit..how odd)
    - Walking animations in cinematics are broken

    So what did I make?
Although most of the missions do not contain stuff directly made by me, 99% of the content ingame would not work properly had it been for several key code edits

Hapslash Imperial and Stormtrooper used with permission.

No support (or even condonement) by Raven Software, Lucasarts LLC, Activision-Blizzard or Vicarious Visions (may their haunted soul rest in peace). No nothing, punk.

By reading this, you understand that the system this mod, [JK2SP], is using, [PROXYMODSP], is intended only for singleplayer use and you break your own game's American EULA by installing this software on your copy of Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast or Star War Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. The creators of either the system or this mod cannot be held legally responsible for the end-user's use of these systems. Have a nice day.
