  3. Iirc there's some concept art of the 'Chrome Stormtroopers' floating around so I suppose making that should be possible at this stage.

  5. @@Rippur Give it some time, while there was a steady flow of new models and maps when the Episode 3 came out it wasn't until really after or just before the movie was released. So far all we've seen is a Teaser Trailer and a majority of the designs aren't shown in their full capacity. I can almost guarantee that the modding scene will be revived somewhat when Star Wars Episode 7 comes out so watch for then
  6. I don't recall mentioning that I was a skinner at all and while criticism is appreciated boasting about your higher skill in achieving the task, isn't. The face texture has been modified enough to say that it would be allowed a release, the mask and the rest of the items (barring the chest-piece which is from Almighty Gir's Revan as well as the modified cape which is from DT's Marajade) are another story all together. Putting it simply the final reborn version will have the following unaltered ported items: The hood, the mask, the arms, the kilt (albeit the tattered modifications), the legs and the hands. Checking for clarification on this @@Circa but even if it isn't allowed I still enjoy showing people what I've been doing especially after devoting a significant amount of time to bring it to fruition. And to answer your confusion @@Dumah 11523 I pmed Claim on the MB2 forums about the model saying I wanted to add some modifications to it and he granted my request. The only publicly released ported SWTOR model of his so far is Darth Malgus. Additional @@ShenLong Kazama: I noticed you post this on Lt. There's a reason I'm attempting to do this myself rather than asking Claim to bring across the ported version. The way you port SWTOR models is with specific tools but they don't actually show the names of what has been ported, instead a hashlist needs to be consulted to decipher what each thing means. Now if iirc Lt. Claim said he had an outdated version of this meaning things in the SoR expansion aren't catalogued. So unless he wants to do an excruciating game of finding the needle in the haystack, custom efforts will have to do for now. @@RevanKnight Definitely don't can your attempt! If you desire we could work together but it's up to you. For one yours has a muuuch more significant chance of being released publicly due to the pieces of the frankenstein being taken from other custom models made FOR JKA. @@Milamber Unfortunately no, that's just how the kilt deforms at the moment. Unless some more high resolution textures were able to be applied it'll be stuck looking like that due to it just being textures on a flat surface. Probably not helped by the fact it has holes in it
  7. @@Kualan that is taken from the Movie Battles 2 Wookiees, specifically the wookieev2 folder. I just darkened the textures so it looked less ceremonial.
  8. If you're frankensteining with blender there's a very easy way to make the cape tattered. By going into Edit Mode and selecting the knife tool you can outline where new polygons are to be drawn, then you just delete around the traced line you have made to create the new shape. Make sure to select all the polygons at the end and hit ctrl + t to triangulate it or it won't work.

  12. Hello gentlemen. Now don't get your hopes up about this thing being released since most of it is ported material from the game SWTOR and as far as I can recall that forbids it for being uploaded onto JKHUB. That doesn't mean I can't show you nice screenies though Face re-texture is done by me with help from @ for the Flesh wound texture and the chest texture is just a stand-in because frankly I have no idea how I'm going to get the tattered chestplate look SWTOR has. I am by no means a master skinner which is why I'm glad the face turned out like how it did:

  18. The robe he has at the moment is absolutely perfect for Reborn Revan, the triangular shape is almost identical. However, for regular Revan I suppose another cape would work, from what I've experienced in frankensteining is that you can make almost every cape fit provided it doesn't have specific features like neck clasps.

  22. I have some good news! I looked up how to turn Meshes into triangles and by doing that on the affected areas it worked! I see now what went wrong, I used the knife tool which creates new polygons and that must've made a few dodgy ones. Unfortunately I'm still having the Surfaces error trying to load it into modview but if it works ingame no issue! Edit: Circa's fix worked for the surfaces error! Thank you all so much in helping me get this to work @@DT85, @Pysk0Sith, @@Circa, @@Veosar you guys are the best
  23. Thank you very much for the help @@Veosar! Unfortunately I'm having a much more insidious problem now that won't let me even export into .glm. I get this error: Blender: Unable to load surface torso_cape, non-triangle face found! I have no idea what on earth it is talking about because last time I checked everything was made out of polygons, not triangles o.o Any ideas @@DT85 or @@Psyk0Sith? Not sure who the resident blender export is around here...
  24. Hey guys, So I was working on a model compilation for one of my RP friends which came with multiple heads in Blender. I've double checked all the names of the parts and none of them contain 0.001 and are definitely all linked via the hierarchy which I've had a look at. The real annoying thing is this error that comes up when I load up the exported .glm in Blender: "Model has 77 surfaces, but only 72 of them are connected up through the hierarchy, the rest will never ber ecursed into. This model needs rebuilding, guys..." Which is odd, considering all the models I've used for parts all work fine ingame. Any assistance would be very appreciated!
  25. Hey, I must be really bored lately because I can't think of anything worthwhile to frankenstein. I found out a much quicker way to do this without having to re-rig the model (cough cough 3DS Max) with the amazingly useful Blender - unfortunately this limits me to only being able to mix and match models that have been rigged in the JKA engine so that means ports in their raw form are off limit. If you have a request please post the links to all the models that'll be involved and try to be as specific as possible. This process still takes a while and I'm still learning Blender's atrocious UI layout so please be patient. Look forward to seeing your requests!
