I can't seem to find any and i hate guestimating via reference images, I'd rather have the front and side view(s) but I'm guessing that such things are pretty hard to come by.
Do you other modellers just guess proportions and structure, etc. or do you know a place where i can find good references or blueprints?
Thanks!
P.s sorry if this is in the wrong thread, i wasn't quite sure where to post it.

I completely agree with you! It gets so annoying because some things work on 1.5 but don't on 1.6 and vice versa. It sometimes puts me off to be honest as I'd like nothing better than to commit to 1.6 but find myself constantly going back to 1.5.
I guess it's to be expected really... I mean it's not like Hammer (Source Engine, similar editor to Radiant) where you get updates and that's how that version stands, no jumping between various versions. There just isn't enough support for it i suppose, it is kinda old now.

0:19 ahhhh the legendary "crouch of knowing." You needn't say a word, just crouch and they'll get the idea that it's go time xD
Good movie

Looks really nice

Well as long as unique custom content is used that we make ourselves then it's okay

@@CaptainCrazy, you should probably just upgrade to at least Mod Tool 7.5 since although it's a free version it's still ahead of the full version of 6 and you can get it for free from ModDB.
I'm not even sure where to get that, it was hard enough to find ModTools 6
-
Which version of Softimage are you using? I think i submitted the skeleton as a Model (.emdl) file from version 6 so it should be able to be imported into nearly any version anyone out there may be using. I also of course have a custom biped rig that seems to work really well but it's only in the .exp (Mod Tool Scene) format, I'm thinking about going back and remaking it though in a newer version since I can't seem to find a way to transfer it.
XSI 6 is what i have..
Been wanting to mess around with this stuff all day but apparently the file system is still offline -.-

I can rig/envelope but i don't know where to get the skeleton for JKA to do so. It's on my list of things to look at, been juggling a lot of stuff lately.
I have nothing better to do today so I'll have a go at getting a character into the engine then see what i do from there
On a related note i do actually prefer to use XSI to rig and weight bones, I'm mainly a 3DS user but i find it to be too cumbersome when it comes to things such as this.

What if Max von Sydow is to play the ghost of Obi-Wan? Put a beard on him and he'd be a good likeness.
I suppose that could work but, so far, there's been no mention of anybody in the cast list that could play Obi-Wan so I'm not even sure if he'll be in it. I know that Ewan McGregor said that he would certainly say 'yes' if he were to be asked to return to the character. I know a lot of people may not like his portrayal of Obi-Wan but i think he did a great job with the material that he was given.
But hey, at this point, i think he couldn't keep a straight face xD

Why are you still bumping this? The thread has been moved to the correct section.

Well i respect all of you scripters, i can't script for shit lol. I dunno... In high school i was always keen to do the practical visual work but hated writing the theory and evaluation. I guess scripting is kinda the same thing to me when it comes to that and 3D modeling xD

It's the renderer, and normal maps have been functional for a long time as well as other neat visual stuff. Except for a number of incompletions like DT mentioned.
Are you f cking serious??? That's the main reason i stopped making content for JKA because i hated the lack of normal maps! xD
Anyway I'm taking DT's post here (sorry about that!) so I guess I'll work out how to enable normal mapped textures in the engine can't be that hard.
*steps out of topic*

Sounds like you could be interested in rend2.
To put it shortly, you can use normal mapping, specularity and so on to make your models maintain a high amount of that detail.
I know about all that stuff and such but the engine doesn't really do normal maps does it? Or has something changed over the past few months?

I happened to find this earlier and i had never seen it before and I've seen every episode.
Still pretty awesome though!

@@DT85 I've been considering using ZBrush for my character creations, does it transition well to this engine? I know how to retopologize things but this engine is kinda limited so a lot of detail would be lost.

@@Circa I'm always on Steam
Also i know how to rig bipeds/character models as long as i have the right skeletal system. I know that i can't just make my own rig, i have to use a rig with specific bone and joint names or it wont work.
-
No offense but why not just re-make them? It'd be a lot more rewarding if you ask me...
Also @ShenLong Kazama use of the word "similar" is just cute xD
Similiar lol.

I always try to leave reviews on content that i download from her. Yes i know sometimes my reviews can be what the author doesn't want to hear but truth makes talent stronger.
